What is your opinion of the lectures by Jan Bröchner?- Funny and giving.»- To much storytelling and not so clear intention with every lecture.» - The lectures slides are very graphical and this make difficult to follow if you dont pay attention.» - most of them were difficult to understand.» - Bra, skämtar mycket vilket jag gillar, samtidigt som kunskapen är otroligt stor och jag fick svar på alla frågor som poppade upp. Som det ska vara!» - Quite good, great English and confidence, however when asked to questions further then the program of the class it was hard to get the answer and in case we did, it was quite confusing.» - Really good lectures» - It was very nice and I learned many things» - Good» - Good lectures, full of examples and applications of theory. A good speeker and lectures that does not rely on the power point but on the speech, which is very good. However it often relies on chapters of Winch Book that we should have read before the lecture. I really tried to do so but after 1 month, it is impossible. Maybe try to keep the level of examples and applications but also try to implement more guidance in theory.» - Good lectures, though some of them could be more focus oriented (i.e. some of them were a little bit confusing). Otherwise you (the teachers) won"t get direct input on your work.» - Sometimes the terms of this not important, do not pay attention in this..." are answers that a teacher should not use, because create uncertainty and doubts.» - not so clear and didn"t sound that reasonable that it should be. » - Samma som ovan, men inte lika mycket skämt kanske! :)» - The English was very good, the confidence of the issues that she talked about should be bigger once Jan was always correcting her. Satt med uppspärrade ögon båda lektionerna! bra!» - Very good, more interesting in the beginning then in the end of the presentation that he had prepared. There were a lot of issues presented that I still haven"t ever though about.» - Really really good! A new and interesting subject.» - It was good and intresting» - Interesting.» - Two very good lectures. A very good speaker. However the second lecture was so full of knowledge that it was difficult to catch all the information in one session. Hard to understand why some of the parts where at all connected to our course.» - I am impressed how the companies are interest in show the real work done during the project. » - completely useless» - not neccesary» - Intressant!» - Quite disappointed, not only because a lot of people didn"t show up, but also because almost everything that we"ve made there (with exception to the visit to the place to see the construction field and the exposition around the lecture hall) could have been done at Chalmers. Maybe make something a little bit more different (having in mind that this is already different) could make it more interesting.» - Unimportant» - I could not attennd at that visit» - Sorry for saying that, i did not join the lecture.» - A very good initiative! And to do again. Of course, everybody was disappointed not to see the tunnel and have direct explanations on site. The lectures were very interesting in general. However it was difficult to be concentrated until the end!» - Unfortunately, I could not join the trip to Hallandsås» - not very interesting, could be more relevant informations » - what is the use of sitting on a bus for 3 hours, when you are not allowed to go into the tunnel? in my opinon really useless...» - nice trip, quite "bad" lectures. It felt like the lecturers just scratched the surface and gave us general information.» - It was of no use. the lecturers could have came here with less expense for the institute . » - It is appreciated that the people working there take their time to meet us. Would have been fun to see more of the tunnel. The development of the project, the way they described it, was interesting.» - not so useful,since the information we got to know there, i already kind of knew it.» - The visit was great, all the lectures were good, but the total time of lectures throughout the day was a little bit too long.. Obviously it would have been great to go into the tunnel, but that is exteemly hard to arrange, but keep trying :-)» - It feels a bit unessasery to do a long buss trip without seeing the site. » - Fun trip, but not necessary. The idea is good, but use a better example. Takes too much time travel there, is more about their project and the difficulties they have had, instead of course related information.» - It was fun. It could have been a bit more showing us around, because it felt kind of unnecessary to travel in a bus several hours to sit in a lecture hall. What is your opinion of the course book by Winch: Managing Construction Projects?- Good»- Good» - Good book but the english level has to be advanced to get some terms.» - That was a great book, but, was not that much related to our course.» - t is difficult to understand what he want to say and there must be better books to read for contract relationships rather than a book that is for project management.» - good» - Bra, men något svårläst!» - The book seems good but there must be some different incentives to make people read it before the classes. Do never forget that the literature of both courses (books and articles) were quite long, so that is one of the reasons we didn"t read it all, because the group work was also quite long.» - You didn"t have to read the book to pass the exam.» - I think Winch book was really hard to understand» - Great one, but better understand could gain when more time available to read it.» - A very good book. Full of interesting knowledge. The knowledge is clearly explained and the book is well written. What is your opinion of the group assignment in general (usefulness, topics...)- Not time enough because of the MOCI course.»- Good» - It was good to have companies relationships, but 5 members is a team is hard to put all to work there is a loaf. » - good» - quite good» - Svårt att dela upp jobbet inom gruppen i vissa fall.........» - Good but very confusing in the beginning.» - Almost felt like that we only scratched the surface of the topic because we didn"t have enough time.» - The purpose of group assignment was not as clear as MOCI course!» - Very helpful to learn about how to write a conference paper compare with learning the culture issues and etc.» - The group assignement is a good way to learn by doing. However it would be better to analyse contracts by the written documents and how it is applied, rather than having a general point of view of a project. This kind of knowledge is often get in other courses with other projects.» - The topic was good and by doing the project it increased my interest for the course subject and encourage me to read the course book» - think the CCR group assignment suffered a bit from the MOCI assignment, because the were scheduled basically at the same time.» - maximum 3 students in each group!!!» - It was good. The topic was in accordance with the goals. » - Unfair and time-consuming. Be aware of the students very varying abilities of writing a report. The original idea is good, and it is interesting to visit a project, but it takes far too much time from your individual time that you want to spend at the course. Perhaps there is a possibility to make the group assignment smaller?» - it was very useful with the intervieews and all..» - Great to get to go out to companies!!!!! Makes you more motivated to to a good job than jus doing an entierly literature based work.» - Good to do a study of a real case» - Good, but takes up a lot of time.» - The actual assignment was really good, and we got in great contact with our company. » - could be better arranged. We would appreciated two meetings with supervisor so the group can get feedback during the project. » - Very good and I learnt a lot.» - Useful but the companies intervied did not prepare anything even though we called them in advance. They need to be better informed from beginning what is excpected of them» - I found this very interesting, but one of the more specific projects the other groups completed may have been better. This is not a fault of the course administration however, as i was late to register » - I wasnt satisfy of your grading and evaluation. Genomsnitt: 1.43 - Is hard to coordinate 5 people, and unfortunately the level of english between foreign student and swedish is huge. And the Swedish student got frustrated to see the progress. » (Good) 24. What is your opinion of the final presentation?- Good.»- Good» - Sometimes do not reflect all the time invested in the project. And the oposition was a good idea but many of them were so kindly. » - Intressant att lyssna på de andra!» - Although maybe it was impossible to do it all together with the rest of the class in a room. I thought that the presentations should be smaller and this could be the solution for this problem. I don"t agree that the supervisor don"t see the presentation.» - Interesting» - It was really nice especially with Jan"s comments » - Good» - Interesting. Would like to get more tips and advises of how to improve group work instead of investigate deeply individual behavior in groups etc. » - the Hallandsås visit» - the literature. » - Try to limit the grup work work load since it is energy consuming when you are all at different levels. Anyhow, you learn something from it, as well. » - more supervision/feedback on the group work.
