- I don"t like the Salem-Teich book that much. It covers a lot of topics in just one book, but on the downside it explains many things rather bad. » (Some extent)

- I think that this course should be given throughout two terms as there is a lot of material. Having multiple lecturers (although all of them being excellent), somehow disperses attention. » (Excellent)

- Some course time should be spent on discussing applications exclusively, regardless if they are related to statistical, wave, ray, etc. optics. Information processing applications relying on light/photonics weren´,t mentioned. In the context of quantum optics for example, applications to quantum computing should at least be mentioned. Semiqualitative properties of light such as color, hue, brightness, etc. such be addressed as well. Thank you very much. »
