- I think that the exam didnt fit to what weve learnt. The last theoryquestion was silly and a couple of other questions were not too good. I would have wanted to show what I had been studying.» (To some extent)

- it takes to long time. if you do that good you cant study to the exam. Even though you say that you learn from design tasks it is always better to study old exams and exercises!» (Some extent)
- The design was very helpful, but still I did notlike / did not agree with some simplifications we made in the calculation (buckling of stiffeners or welds). It gives the feeling that the calculation was not correct after all and sometimes does not correspond well to theory which might be confusing» (Large extent)

- The time effort the FEM-project took was not in accordance to the learning outcome.» (Small extent)
- Modeling to complicated and time consuming so there is no time to experiment with the FEM model and play with it to enhance understanding. Make instructions better so we don’,t have to spend so much time modeling and can spend more time thinking about the results.» (Some extent)
- Abaqus always takes to long time and when we know that it doesnt matter when it comes to the exam one dont try to hard in the FE-work. Give us 2 grades and we would try harder regarding Abaqus.» (Some extent)
- A lot of time was spent on the model and trying to understand Abaqus. If there was a little bit more guidence in the beginning more time could have been spent later trying to understand the results.» (Some extent)

- Make the FEM part better. Maby it would be good to have a dugga with the therory questions before the final exem.»

- Bra kurs och mycket bra och entusiastisk föreläsare. Mohammad är ett föredöme för V-sektionen! Robert Kliger har mycket att lära av Mohammad. Ang. Ping-Pong så fungerade det nog inte som Chalmers trodde. Det som skiljer Ping-Pong från Studentportalen är ju främst att Ping-Pong ger möjlighet för studenterna att kommunicera med varandra och med läraren. Emellertid så har studenterna alltid egna sätt att komunicera med varandra och kommer inte ändra deras sätt bara för att Ping-Pong finns. Vad gäller kommunicationen med läraren så känns email och personlig kontakt mer naturligt än att, t.ex., chatta med läraren. Vad jag tror är att: behovet som Ping-Pong skulle fylla är ett behov som Chalmers tror finns men som i praktiken inte existerar. Studenter behöver inte Ping-Pong för att kommunicera med varandra och lärarnas behov att kommunicera med studenterna tror jag fylls i och med Studieportalen.»

- Perhaps it sounds like I am rather dissapointed with the course but the thing is that I would like to be able to do more by myself in all courses. I dont like to attend lectures so I would like that all the material is available the first day on the homepage. I must say that Muhammad is a very good teacher, probably the best we have had, together with Björn of course, and this Ping-Pong page was excellent. Thanks for an interesting course!»
