- Better with take-home exam, BUT Stellans take-home exams were the worst I"ve ever seen. They were almost more sloppy and full of small/big errors than his lectures. Honestly what does he expect to get back from the students when almost no sentence/equation is correct?!! I felt that I was wasting my time, didn"t learn stuff, some of the problems didn"t even connect to his lectures, at least not enough for me, and I lost all my respect. » (Prefer take-home exam)

Genomsnitt: 2.55 - It uses to be quite difficult to follow the last lectures because they require that you really have grasped everything that has been teached erlier in the course. With three different subjects that somewhat started of from the begining each time this was not the case in this course. However it might have been a bit harder to really understand the subjects in depth because you don"t spend as much time in each subject.» (?)

- It was a big difference in quality. Gabrielle was absolutely fantastic I think. Bernhard was great, he was giving the impression that he really wanted to teach, and he had a nice touch of humour.
Stellan was not good. Can he please be more correct! I got a small headache every lecture because he never did anything right. You get frustated, lost, confused and then after few minutes you fall a sleep instead. Maybe this is a bit too critical but also I get the feeling that he never starts and ends a normal sentence, but instead he gets into other things back and forth until I get totally confused, this is very tiresome for listeners after a while.» (Better than having one)

- Without a book one had to rely on the lectures, but this isn"t bad in any way. In Gabriele"s and Bernhard"s part we had Sakurai, but Stellan"s part had no textbook for reasons he explained.» (Great extent)

Genomsnitt: 2.3 - Large parts of the course had no proper course literature. Which is bad, because that"s my preferred way to learn things. Lack of proper literature actually drove me to despair at one point, making me wonder if I should just skip this course altogether.» (Small extent)

- I had to look up alot of things on the web. Learning to do this is acctually important to but to get the best understanding of the physics it would be nice to have some single source of information where things are rigourously defined and derived.» (Some extent)
- Since Gabriele"s part was based on Sakurai, Sakurai helped a lot. Bernhard had really good notes and also his lectures were easy to take notes from. Stellans part was hard to follow, hard to find the right material to read and hard to understand his notes, so many errors everywhere so you get totally confused.» (Some extent)

- Very nice lectures from all the teachers!»
- Gabriele, Stellan and Bernhard are three great great lecturers.»

- To know the dates for the homework problems when the course starts. »

- Teachers should spend more time on different subjects, since they are complex. There should also be Problem Sessions.»
18. Additional comments- A text book or a single compilation of the material covered that explains everything from the bottom up would be nice. Sometimes the hand-ins was more about algebraic manipulations rather than real physical insight.»
