- We were told that the exam would not consider detail but question 6 were all detail to me. That could have been replaced with a question that shows understanding to the subject and not just a page in a book.» (To some extent)
- The test is supposed to focus on the most important things to learn however there were some questions like the SKF and Information ones that seemed out of nowhere, there were so many more important things to ask and a non compulsory visit (with no slides) got a question?» (To some extent)

- The journal articles were probably the best source of information. They were very interesting and brought current facts about industries which made the learning process better as you could relate what was being tought to real life.» (Great extent)

Course structure and content12. How do you perceive the following parts of the course? Please give some brief comments if you rank any part as less than good.Matrisfråga- Case Sandvik was a disaster !!! The lack of serious in its preparation by logistema is clear. It could be a good case, even very good, but the data have to be sure.
Regarding the lectures on Purchasing and supply management, we had the feeling that the teacher was only reading the book. So, clearly, the teacher was bored and boring. The slides were very poor in spite of a very good book. What a waste of time to attend these classes. The reading of the book is widely more useful.»
- Sanvdik"s people should have looked at the data before handdling it.»
- Strategic Sourcing: I didn"t think that I learn useful knowledge from this seminar.
SCM: I just rush for the assignment and didn"t feel learn anything from it.
Case Sandvik: It is keeping on change over time and I didn"t find that I learned much from the time-consuming case work eventually.
Seminar Construction: I really appreciate Lars and Anna send us their comments to our paper and give us valuable suggestions for improvements.
Lecture: Prof. Stig gave a really interesting and valuable lecture. »
- About Sandvik case is that it is a very good idea, interesting project but managed not in a best way in terms of continuous changes in data and so on. If it would be prepared better I would give the highest rate to it.
About SKF it was interesting excursion, however exam"s questions was not reflecting this visit.»
- The parts connected to the "red book" could have been better. Gadde had more details which made me feel his part was more important.»
- I didn"t see the goal for sandvik case,because Ididn"t get the right answer,just some comments. also for skf it was n"t related to SCM,mostly mechanical engineering and with out any text or some thing to read,I lost one question in exam because I didn"t get clearly what the man in skf had told us!»
- SCM Construction seminar should be divided into 2 different groups. No good to have all 12 groups present in the same group»

- Actually, I didn"t get enough time to think and work on the assignments very well. My groups always rush to handin the assignments all the time. » (High)
- The workload was different from weeks when it was too high and rather not in some weeks. Perhaps more smooth schedule can be made. However it reflect the more natural working process in companies so the work process was done all right.» (High)
- I think the group works could have been better planed in time. But it was good to have them to be able to get to know the classmates.» (High)

- SKF visit because it explains more about the processes they carry out and less emphasize on SCM aspect. »

- The Sandvik case could have been better organized from the beginning so it can be kept but it needs a better coordination.»
- The Sandvik case, didn"t learn that much and it wasn"t very well organized. Maybe Gaddes book is too old? »

- Maybe more lectures or group assignmentfor the last 3 weeks of the quarter because I spent a lot of time working alone and reading books and that was not very exciting!»
18. Additional comments- It could be very useful to hang more old exams in the homepage.»
- The ideas of Case Sandvik and Strategic sourcing are good, but more details should be given in the seminar and finally the consultants should also explain in details (eg. give a lecture) how they will solve the case in real business world.»
- The course did not offer very much new to the former I students. It could maybe be reworked to offer the former I students more new stuff. The part about Agile was new. The course was very interesting and offered a good overview and a way of thinking that is relevant to the course. »
- I think one question in exam was in red book that hadn"t been mentioned in lectures and power point hand out(question 6).»
