- The courses this quarter were too disorganised. No clear structure, too many different teachers, especially in Electromagnetic waves part. You shouldn"t take two courses and say it is one course. It doesn"t work. My idea is to put the spectroscopy and astrophysics in the same course, as they are closely related, offer the students to choose between this and an extended earth science course, and skip the waves part completely - integrate it in the antenna courses instead. Why not put a course in radio telescopes here instead?»

- It would be good if the ASF050 is integrated in the Chalmers system. I also think that it would be great if this course come later in time than the course in gravitation and cosmology (the teacher also thought so). It is also strange that this course, which is quite hard, is only on C level.»

14. What was good with the first 4 quarters MPRSS?

- Some of the courses are really good and interesting. Most of the teachers have been very kind and helpful.»
- Astroparticle, Relativity, Space Science and Technique.»
- Space Sciences and Techniques courses was really good to study, well composed and with defined objectives»

15. What was bad with the first 4 quarters MPRSS?

please comment

- There are too many courses which are divided into smaller courses. If it had worked, I wouldn"t mind, but all of them have felt more or less disorganised depending on this. Although, the RRY045 and RRY050 were better organised than the Q2 courses. Then there is much more to say about the courses in Q2, but I think most of that has been said in a letter from the students to Rüdiger.»
- The combined courses. Part of them suit my interest, but I have to give up since other parts in a course are not relavant to me.»
- Most of the courses were not have well defined objectives. Clearly learning motives of subjects were ambitious rather then theme well composed and focussed»

16. Is there anything that needs to be improved?

- There are some things that need to be done. The Q2 courses have to be reorganised, everyone that took them agree on that. It would also be good to revise the order of some of the courses, as well as checking the prerequisites for them (as I know of several classmates not having sufficient knowledge of quantum physics to follow the spectroscopy course, even less the astroparticle physics course). If you need quantum physics to follow this master"s programme, that should clearly be stated in the prerequisites. Or an introductory quantum physics course should be offered to those who need it. Now it doesn"t affect me, as I am going abroad, but it would have been good with information about the elective courses for the autumn as we had for the courses this spring. I didn"t actively search for the last date for course choice as I wasn"t going to make a choice, but I think it would have been good if that information went out to everyone in the programme (either from the department or from the student centre).»
- I suggest that some courses in the fundamental could be elective in MPRSS program.»
- Actually the programme is so diverse that it cannot be a one Master Programme. The Tracks in programme should be isolated well from the start.»
