- What is the point in just deriving equations on the black board? We have a hard time to follow and understand everything at the same time as we tries to write it down because it sometimes differs from the lecture notes. It is even harder to follow when the lecturer doesn"t even understand all equations himself and just derive half of it and tell us to read the rest in Pacjeka or that he will try to explain it at the next lecture.» (>75%)

Genomsnitt: 3.46 - Why is the time for handin the assignments extended to after the exam. At least swedish students start to work by then to earn money to pay the rent! How can extra help time be added during daytime after the exam when people are workning? No point in having them. The last assigment ad to be skipped because it was impossible to get help during nights. Summary: Do not extend deadlines until after the exam, set a proper number of assignments with proper difficulty instead!!!» (Very badly)

Genomsnitt: 3 - Thought this should be a course about suspension settings, affects of different wheel angles etc. But it was only one more course with equations and math. Does not feel that useful in real life if you shouldn"t develop software for ESP or Haldex systems etc.» (Very bad)

Swedish guys are so good at matlab, thought some foreigners (like me as french) are bad since we discovered this soft this year. So we are extremly disadvantaged compared to the swedish people» (Very bad)

- The teaching was rather good, Sogol did always know what she was talking about, she knew the assignments very well. Sometimes I felt that Mathias did not know everything about the assignments... There has to be more assignment sessions or more supervisors in order to finish the assignments in time!» (Rather good)

- Good but time consuming to look for errors»
- Simulink is a good tool, but we don"t have very much knowledge of the program, so maybe the tasks were a little bit too hard. You should focus on the vehicle dynamics, not the program code...»
- It would have been better with an introduction to Adams and Shark/Ravens.»
- Good overview and rather easy to work with. But also very time consuming when it comes to searching for errors which can occur and disappear by itself.»

Genomsnitt: 2.07 - It would have been more than enough with 3 tasks on the exam! I don"t think that you should fail the exam due to that you don"t have time to do all the tasks... The exam was a disaster, I was very stressed all the time, s stressed that I am afraid that I have made many small errors. If the work load on the exam had been lower, I am quite sure that there would have been much fewer that failed... An exam can"t b made in this way...» (Very bad)

Lots of student fell very bad after this exam since it was so difficult. (compaired with the exam of the basic course that was quite easy)» (Very bad)

- Go through which parts of the suspension geometry that gives certain types of behavior, make 2 design tasks in Adams/Raven instead. That gives much more useful knowledge and discussion during the design tasks.»

- A cours with a written exam with caluclations should include some part of calculations by hand in the course!!! The first time you see the kind of problem should not be in the exam. Even if the assignements are at the same kind of subjects.»
24. Additional comments- a small lecture to refresh control theory can be usefull. it is better to have this course after rigid body dynamics course.»

- I think the assignments involving derivations can be combined with the simulation assignments as 1 week for the derivations seem to long and unnecessary. If combined with the simulation then we get more time for the simulation as well. Topics in class can be better presented.»
