- But there are people from different background, so I would like to suggest that when words/concepts from physics background are referred the professor could explain it in more details. Anyway, I know that is also difficult because the professor expect the student make questions during the lecture.» (Yes, the goals seem reasonable)

- While most literature on Quantum Mechanics is by its very nature hard to understand, I wasn"t particularly fond of this book. It has typos that demand further editing work and most explanations are lacking in detail. For a book that supposedly intends to offer a practical approach, it doesn"t have enough solved examples to aid the student get a grasp of problem solving in Quantum Mechanics.» (Some extent)
- This book "kroemer" is very difficult even for physics student.I find the book that is very simple and cover all our subjects.it is "Applied quantum mechanic by Anthony Levi"» (Some extent)
- For some topics it was more rewarding to search material elsewhere.» (Some extent)

- For the course materials, it is better to upload them to the web before the lecture so that student can get the materials before the class. It"ll help to follow the course, instead of busy copying them during the lectures.» (Rather well)
- It wouldn"t hurt if the solutions to the recitations were a bit easier to read.» (Very well)

- Not because the professor, but because of the students. I would like to suggest that when the professor see the class is not making question he could propose or formulate important question during the class, specially about concepts.» (Rather poor)
- many students need to ask their own questions but in recitation hours we have to solve some special problems.» (Rather good)

- The computer project consumed to much time in comparison with the rest of the course» (Adequate)
- I mean, I would like to check high because high for me is adequate for this course... confusing...» (Adequate)
- I won"t get tired of saying that this isn"t a course for a month and a half. It takes more than that to get a good grasp of the principles and applications of Quantum Mechanics, especially if you lack a Physics background.» (High)

- I can guess the "Quantum Mechanics" course is even more demanding, but it was still hard to see the "Engineering" in "Quantum Engineering." Just like the book, the course should focus more on teaching how to solve problems (because Quantum Mechanics problems are not easy or simple) rather than trying to keep up with the teacher"s writing speed.» (Adequate)
- The teachers are taking the teaching seriously and a genuinely interested in improving the teaching with is an appreciated attitude. Nice job!» (Good)
- Emphasisses I think should be placed on students understanding the course more than finishing the course schedule so the aim of teaching the course is not defeated.» (Good)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The goals are good»
- The recitations are definitely a good idea. I liked those a lot.»
- Keep the homework assignments in the present form. It give an opportunity to the student to choose how ambitious he/she should be during the quarter.»
- Tutorial sessions for students and open opportunities to ask questions should definitely be preserved to next year.»
- everything was fine but too much, for example the computer project was a good idea, but it required too much work. it could have been two computer projects spread over the semester.»
- In my point of view everything was OK. Maybe adding one or two classes in the end could be better.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Luftbrygan is not good for teacing»
- Time of studying, it should be extended to 2 quarters»
- I think the most problem was the literature. If you can change it with a more simple one it can help a lot.»
- make mor clear what part of the lecture is imortant to know and what on the other hand is only a derivation that is just presented for better understanding. since the students are occupied with writing and trying to read what is on the board it is nearly impossible to follow the content properly. it would be very helpful to have a more transparent structure and perhaps also leave out some rather unimportant stuff to slow the lecture down a bit. a hint, every now and then, what is the important thing to keep in mind would be very precious!»
- Since it is a course that is intended to give the theoretical background for issues encountered in practice, it would be nice with some more examples where the different theories can be applied.»
- The computer project should either be removed or made less time consuming or distracting for the students in their bid to understand the course in the early sessions of their stay in Chalmers. Many meet mathlab language for the very first time here and are already expected to use it to solve difficult looking questions. This takes a large breathe to summount for many.»
- having a few quizzes during the semester would be good. having just one exam for this amount of literature is inadequate. To increase group work, there could be group quizzes. »
- I think the Professor could interact with the student during the lecture proposing conceptual question to the students and answering it. Just to create a better learning environment, but everything was fine for me.»

- The handwriting was sometimes quite hard to read due to the size. Further the professor made often accidential mistakes like wrong indizes etc. on the black board. That made it sometimes a little confusing»

- A bit too much time was spent evaluating tabular integrals on recitals»
- This is course is not a course you can go through well in just 2 month, 4 month is more reasonable»
- Alternative courses can be started that allow students get the knowlege not gotten in the syllabus.»
- Well, since we have a lots of problems when we arrive from outside country I would like to suggest this class could be switched to the second quarter. For me was hard, because the scholarship just arrive one month after the class have started and because of that I just could buy the book one month later. So if switch to the second quarter this I could have had given more from me to this lectures.»
