- Accommodation information » (4)
- A compulsory course in the beginning of the autumn semester was not announced making me having to change my ISP. Also the choice of design courses should be final for exchange students to be sure to have a corresponding course at the home university» (4)

- Ikea ? Seriously ?» (1)
- Not very good. No activities in the second semester for one year exchange students. Circ didn´,t care any longer about us. Most of the events organized by CIRC during the first semester were just for 100 people! There were 1000 exchange students that were supposed to be welcome! This just shows that CIRC can only handle 10%/20% of the new students. There are a lot of free and nice activities that could be organized for EVERYBODY and not just for 100 people (barbecues, hikings, etc). The last event organized by CIRC (a presentation telling the "great" experience we had) just around 40 people were present and for me clearly shows how satisfied people were with the welcome activities. Few interaction between phader groups. I was lucky and joined a different phader group were I met really nice people.» (2)
- Not enough places for everyone... » (3)
- I thinnk it was a good way to get to know each other! some found it somewhat childish but my opinion is that is should be like this: some competition and some pre arranged things to get is going! I must say that i arrived 3 weeks later and therefore missed a lot, i joined 2 trips, kiruna and a balric road trip and that was for me the real eye openen and kickstarter here in sweden! » (3)
- A bit too early. When they started I was not there yet.» (4)
- Involve more Swedish people» (4)
- I liked all the activities and parties that CIRC had. It was a great way to meet other people and have a good time.» (4)
- CIRC!!!!» (5)
- It was very well organized Reception, and activities by CIRC, I got some friends that I know untill now, and I"m very into Chalmers.» (5)
- very good welcome here » (5)
- the CIRC committée did a fantastic job!» (5)
- awesome, could be higher capacity on these» (5)
- The CIRC-Team was awesome! Without them it would be harder to find new people» (5)
- Activities organized by CIRC were really helpful» (5)
- I enjoyed the time with the phadders and the other Erasmus students a lot, there were plenty of nice activities for everybody and every interest. Also the welcoming lectures were interesting and helpful» (5)
- was great !» (5)
- The activities were nice. They helped to see some places around the city, get some furniture, and meet the members of the phadder group with whom you will probably keep in touch during the semester.» (5)
- great, continue those activities» (5)
- The introduction day was useful and the CIRC managed to make us familiar with Chalmers.» (5)
- the welcoome day was AMAZING!!» (5)
- I felt very welcome. However maybe in the future, try to accomplish more contact between swedish students and erasmus students like a buddy system » (5)
- CIRC!» (5)
- CIRC activities including the phadder concept helped me a lot to settle in Göteborg.» (5)

- Before coming at Chalmers, the agency told me that there was no room available before February but when I arrived in Gothenburg, some accomodations were free for January. About my contract, the rent was increased without any notification. I had to send an email to have some explanation. - I didn"t have course» (?)
- I didn"t feel concerned so it is partly my responsibility » (2)
- Some very good courses but also some very bad ones.» (3)
- Some courses barely and some took a hell lot of it. Furthermore big lab projects where only marked with fail or pass, there was basically no motivation to do it good, everybody just wanted to pass with the minimum mount of effort. » (3)
- Workload and level of the courses differ too much.» (3)
- No practical lab work ( only watch what the assistant is doing). The materials engineering departments lectures were not as good as I expected. Most of them involved knowing a bunch of information by heart rather than understanding the subject» (3)
- The quality of the lectures, tutorings and seminars was not what I expected before coming to Chalmers. As it is a technical university, I expected much more input in those fields and I was quite disappointed after my courses. Nevertheless, the excursions where worth the courses.» (3)
- chalmers has the same limits as the TU Delft i want to add that for erasmus students that only study half a year in Sweden is is relatively easy to get positive grades» (3)
- I had a great impression of the courses stucture used at chalmers such as short lectures, assignements, projects etc. However i think the exams should be more challenging for students» (4)

- There"s a lot of quality difference between courses. In general I consider Chalmers better in terms of quality, but many international friends had another opinion.» (4)

- Architecture courses and teachers do not have a lot of background of urban planning, I missed the overlapping in knowledge» (4)
- sometimes too much effort during study period too less time to study for exams» (4)
- Not all the lectures were as interesting and demanding as I was expecting. Therefore, I was somehow disappointed.» (4)
- I put 5 because there"s no more scale.» (5)

- Great!! Very practical. » (5)
- Totally different from Italy but much more focused on practical studies. » (5)
- Awesome! Want more!» (5)

- Even though it"s not easy to get around with locals, the university is very inviting, with many good facilities. The level of the courses is not super high, but the workload is relatively high. Usually the assistance with assignments was good too.» (4)

12. Do you have any other comments or suggestions?

- I have noticed that in courses where groups are not decided by the teachers, exchange students tends to group together while the swedish are forming their own groups. Finding a way to solve that without always letting the teachers form groups would be interesting.»
- This survey was send to me three times with different ids, i could fill it out three times, don"t know if this is the intention of this kind of survey. However, won"t do it more than once.»
- - the existence (!) and organisation of the group work rooms is fantastic. I think, the focus on group work that I experienced in this time is a big strength of Chalmers.»
- Very nice University »
- no»
- Excellent facilities but staff are fairly unorganised.»
- Student restourants menus should be also on english. »
- English should be official language of student union, it"s absence prevented me from getting involved and take part on events.»
- Thank you for being such a good host university! It was a pleasure being part of Chalmers for one semester!»
- It would have been an advantage if the student society market was held in januari as well, in order to meet Swedish locals with the same interests. Now I only got this chance in April/May »
- I would have liked to learn some more Swedish, but I wasn"t a Master"s student so I didn"t have access to the free classes from Gothenburg University. It would have been nice if Chalmers would have some Swedish classes for exchange students like me. But learning Swedish wasn"t necessary to stay in Sweden or Chalmers, so it wasn"t a problem for me.»
- Find a solution to the HUGE accommodation problem. »
- do something about the housing problem»
