- some courses were not good at all and the broad branch demands a bigger opportunity to choose path between hydro/Structure/yacht/shipping/sailing» (OK)

- I must say that I had higher expectations. I thought it would be a far better and closer relation to the industry and I had higher expectations on some of the courses too.» (OK)
- The course arrangement needs to improve, from example move FEM before composite and avoid FEM conflicts with CFD, as both are important» (Good)
- PD is a MSc program which becomes what you make of it as a student. You can learn a lot or "float through".» (Very good)

- The workload is rather high, but I think it is what you make it. The subjects are very interesting so the high workload is compensated for.» (Adequate)

- Random selection of groups affects good students who seek high grades, who are forced to group with students with lower ambition» (Not at all)
- The cultural difference are hard sometimes. For me as a female students I have had a hard time with the Indian students that doesn"t like to cooperate with me because of my gender, and they are open about it too. (Not all students from India, but some). It is also generally accepted to cheat on hand ins and exams, among the international students, which we have had though discussions about in group assignments. » (Not so satisfied)
- There have been problems with different levels of ambition, prior knowledge and work methods (not all related or in the same people)» (Not so satisfied)
- A considerable percentage of indian guys are irresponsible: do not respect due dates, don"t work during team projects. Besides don"t have enough software background for a master"s in engineering. » (Not so satisfied)
- Some students, especially foreign students, are not used to the pace of courses at Chalmers, where there"s always group work and assignments to do. This causes an unbalance in the work load in group projects. » (Neither/Nor)
- There has been some "cultural differences" which some times have been both time consuming and frustrating. » (Neither/Nor)
- Most group projects have been excellent. But my group in the project course in applied mechanics were not good. One from formula student and two exchange students, which didn"t participate much.» (Satisfied)
- Compared to the bachelor, everyone is now sharing work and dare to have school related discussions in our facebookgroup. We have a shared drive-folder where everyone uploads summaries etc. » (Very satisfied)

9. How do you perceive the social interaction with your fellow students at Chalmers outside studies?

- I spend about 4 hours meeting people for other reasons than studying per week. I do this at the gym. It is about the time I have for that. But it is quality time!» (Very good)
- I was lucky to be accepted to the universities choir and through that could learn about the rich society life at Chalmers. I also learned Swedish thanks to that, which helped a lot to make contact to Swedish students.» (Good)
- I wish that there were more activities in the beginning to get a better atmosphere in the class» (Good)

- It was better at the Bachelor program. Now I don"t feel as motivated to get to know new people, both because I already know people in Gothenburg and also because I will only study with these people for part time over two years.» (Poor)

- There should be more interaction between the master programs, in real work (project) there are e.g. one product developer, one person that is good at the computinal part etc...» (Poor)

- Quite many cumpolsory/semicumpolsory courses but most of them are good and feels convenient for the programme. » (Satisfied)

- Because I was studying some courses as an Erasmus student before joining the programme, I already had completed some courses. It was no problem to include them into my study plan and change the plan flexibly.» (Very satisfied)

13. Do you think that the student opinions and results from course evaluations have significant impact (taken seriously by the management)?

- I think that the course evaluation system is bad, I can"t imagine that the management could do anything better with current system, but there are a lot that could be improved in the courses and program.» (To some extent)
- I think that the lecturers/ evaluators should listen more seriously at the students opinions, I have not experienced that.. I sometimes feel that the student opinions are ignored, due to that it is time consuming to change things in the courses.» (To some extent)
- In some courses the teachers are more defensive and less interested in improving the course, for example the CFD course. It should also be possible to comment on grading and review of the exam » (Could be improved)

- well,I haven"t experienced them yet, I"ve experienced robbery at a study room at Chalmers, although I emphasized that everyone needs to use access card to enter the building when I contacted the student center and also sent email to one stuff, until now, I haven"t received any feedback yet. » (?)

- But happpened unintentionally, due to the differences in lifestyle and traditions» (Yes, both)
- Yes, we have had some problems with some international students that have had a hard time to cooperate with women and generally thinks we are less smart than the men. However it is their loss and energy waste so far.» (Yes, discriminations)
- But at the bachelor level. Two teachers being condescending and overall treating me differently for being female.» (Yes, discriminations)
- Some professors talk about how incapable international students are (compared to the Swedish mentality), and that hurts some students" feelings. In one of the courses, the professor talked about her bad experience in one of the countries in Asia, were she explicitly stated her hatred to Indians and Muslims. » (Yes, discriminations)
- During my bachelor years, a professor at the S2 department deliberately gave me minus points on an exam as I was a borderline case, causing me to fail the exam. The discrimination part of it was that even though I pointed out where they"d given me unjust minus points, they refused to acknowledge my written note of complaint as well as my emails about the matter. I guess these things happen when a school or department strive for having a certain passing percentage in order to "uphold the schools reputation".» (Yes, discriminations)
- There were some false remarks made about students from a particular country in a course evaluation which did not seem fair and was uncalled for. However, no major harm was done.» (No, none)
- sometimes, I just got some unfriendly opinion to my country and culture, but maybe it"s just because they are ignorance about my different country and culture or inherent idea. it"s hard to say it is discrimination. But, in general, the Swedish students are friendly and open-minded» (No, none)

15. Do you know who to contact in the case of harassments or/and discriminations?
