- the quality between several courses differes a lot and the grading is partly unexplainable.» (2)
- Depending on the master program, the course level was very different. The courses from the master "infrastructure and environmental engineering" were at a lower level. Most courses do not mandate prerequisite, it is somehow strange for master level courses! Also the workload was generally low. It would be nice if some teachers could speak better English. On the other side, lab work and seminars were very appreciable.» (2)
- The academic level is, in Chalmers, very low. Most of the courses treat in a very superficial manner the content even in the Master cycle and therefore does completely not correspond to 7,5 european credits. For example, in first year master courses we had chemical lesson that I had in high school... Moreover, and generally speaking there is a great lack of theoretical knowledge... of intellect. I had the opportunity to follow courses in civil engineering, in environmental engineering (where it was the worst situation) and in architecture and each time the review is the same. An obsessive use of the computer is done during the exercises and during the lessons with an overuse of the Powerpoint which make the courses annoying and repetitive. Concerning amount of work it is very low. The oral examination of the projects are kafkaesque: it is unbelievable that for some courses the ONLY feedback we had came from the other students (the opposition). Therefore the so-called opposition is reduced to a sum of trivialities and the teachers never do (excepted for some courses in env. engineering) some real critics. I beg your pardon for a such comment but I was very deceive with the courses at Chalmers and I felt to learn nothing in one year, which is, you can understand, a bit frustrating. Moreover the Erasmus students have been ejected from the course Timber engineering just a week before this course has started and this reflect a very poor consideration to international student.» (2)
- Leve of the studies is quite low compared to my home university.» (2)
- Lots of time spent for group works, just little time left for studying. One course great and perfectly organized, the second one a bit chaotic.» (3)
- the course level is relatively low, however I liked the integration with interesting project work and lab activities » (3)
- Depending on the courses (master course), it wasn"t as hard as i anticipated, and i"m a bachelor student.» (4)
- Actual workload varies a lot between different courses.» (4)
- I really liked the diverse aspect of the lectures (lectures, lab work, project works). The quality was good but it was not so much expected.» (4)
- It really depends on the course.» (4)
- Practical parts of lab were awesome and challenging. Theoretical part was fairly easy.» (5)
- I have only been working in the lab and on my project, I have not taken any courses. The working environment was very good and allowed me to really develop my skills as I felt I could ask any questions I needed to. My superiors were all very friendly.» (5)
- Complete and relevant in any field» (5)

- Very good for studying and working however I found it difficult to make friends outside of my lab. I arrived at an unusual time though and missed all the welcome activities so that might be why» (3)
- At least Göteborg is one of the most interesting city I had the opportunity to live in and the campus of Chalmers is a nice place to work.» (3)
- A lot of time to travel and gain experience» (4)
- It was really pleasant, but we weren"t very integrated with Swedish students. I would have expected to get more information about the Student"s activities and associations in Chalmers (music, arts, sport, departments, ...) It seems to me that there is a lot of activity on the campus but I had no idea what it was and how to get involved in it.» (4)
- People are nice and speak very good engish so that I didnt have communication problem. But the courses are quite difficult for a undergraduate student.» (4)
- travelled a lot!» (5)

- Sweden is recommended but absolutely not Chalmers, at least, not in way and water engineering.» (No)
- It is always a good experience to spend one year in a foreign university, but more from the personal and professional plan than for the educational level in my case, so I would not recommend Chalmers in particular. Moreover, I am disappointed because one important course for our learning plan was denied to Erasmus student at the last moment (the Timber engineering course).» (Maybe)
- The courses are quite difficult for a undergraduate student» (Maybe)
- The year at Chalmers could not have been better. Thank you for the nice time!» (Yes)
- it was great!» (Yes)

12. Do you have any other comments or suggestions?

- Thanks for everything! Sweden is definetely great»
- Jävla god tid!»
- Since all students have to be members of a teknologsektion it would"ve been nice if we"d been welcomed by the sektions as well. This is, of course, more up to the sektions and the student union.»
- We have a Chalmers address, it would have been good to get some information about students events by this mean. (cf: Remark about my overall impression and the activities on campus) Otherwise I had a really good time here!»
- In all my courses I was studying with people with totally different background, e.g. mathematicians on the one hand and economics students on the other, I guess this combination made i nearly impossible to have content that satisfies everybody. I guess having groups with similar background would lead to a higher learning output in some cases»
- It is regrettable that we are obliged to pay by credit card at the school bookstore. I would have enjoyed to learn swedish, unfortunately, the opportunities were limited. »
- Work on the quality of the courses. There is a lack of space to work, and I precise : places with no computers, for example in the library.»
- You should provide more cheap flats.»
- I liked it so much that I applied for a master"s programme at Chalmefds and was accepted.»
- thanks for everything :)»
- Best year of my life so far!»
- More information should be available about the organisation of the double degree programme. However, my impression is that from Chalmers side enough information was given, this relates more to Stuttgart University.»
