- Good in the way that you knew what school expected from you but bad in concerning the handover between planning report and the studio. There we got very little information in between.» (good)

- In Matter Space Structure (MSS) we got good sub-deadlines. The public presentation was the overall goal for our studio.» (good)

- We had 4 different mid-term focusing on different working methods and fulfillments.» (very good)
- We in Matter Space and structure had several different "mid-term" seminars each with a different focus, and those were very good! you got a more extended comments and different views on your project both from the examiner, supervisors and the fellow students » (very good)

- I expected more ivolvement from the public. Why isn"t offices from outside more present??» (good)
- I belive that there was to much projects in a limited space! I belive that the setting did not create the optimal frame for the projects. The organization itself was satisfactory.» (bad)

- Registration was a bit of a mess and could have more guidance about the final report, especially us from MSS.» (good)

Possible improvements

19. What should be preserved for the future?

- The good overview in time and deadlines. Possobility for individual discussion with examiner.»
- i think that the way that Morten have organized MS&S for the master thesis is very good, with the 4 mid-crits and the final examination.»
- The structure of different focus categories, Dummy, drawings - models - presentations. Good!»

20. What should be changed in the future?

- Less stress, better supervisor»
- I believe that it is important that the goals of the master thesis is more well known to reduce stress among the students, the focus tends to turn very much to the final result, pictures and less to the fact that the entire process is under scrutiny . »
- A higher focus upon the varations of the master thesis. I belive that is what have could made a better and more investigating resault. I belive that it is what the Chalmers Architectures final projects should become even stronger! »

21. What is your overall opinion of the master thesis work process?

- Quite stressfull from time to time. A good showcase for future work. Possibilities for realisation of project.»
- The organization in my studio was good, and sitting and working in one room together suited me. We had a lot of fun but it was also very hard work and the pressure was sometimes very though. I would also like to add that I don"t think that this survey covers the thesis work that well as is was carried out so differently in the various studios, it seems that at least the question of which studio you took should have been added. It may also be an idea to add something about the physical working environment. Did you work alone or in a studio environment? .. enough space for everyone? good ventilation etc.. »
- Extremely rough! I have been thinking a lot about it afterwards, and I could conclude that the process was filled with a lot of stress coming from not knowing where in the process you are, not well defined where the project was heading to and towards, some unrealistic goals and in general not really knowing what I was working with. This "unknowing" stress was the most difficult to handle. I dont really know how to ease this stress. But there should be to really define the project in an early stage! Force a detailied projectplan before you start the term, and stick to it! I am now happy for getting my self through it, and I am proud of the resault. But I am not quite sure if it really was worth the stressfull situation?! Maybe this evaluation is to close to the actually process in time. My answer could be different after a period of time. »
