- Was doing my master thesis at the same time so no real effort was put in to the course. Also read Operating Systems course and Concurrent programming course. So not very much was new.» (At most 15 hours/week)

- Exercise sessions was ridiculous. teacher couldn"t even speak English, Swedish 75% of the class. If he spoke English he didn"t use verbs, sentences were verb less and meaningless. worst class ever!!!» (100%)

- Unfortunately, We were given materials in Swedish. This is unacceptable in an international program in which everybody is supposed to communicate in English. Previous sample exams are all in Swedish. Exercise reference are 80% in swedish (questions and titles in English but solutions in English)!!! Course professor asked international students to find Swedih friends who can translate them for them!!! We could all do a better exam if we could read the material before exam !!!!» (To some extent)
- The lab could be devided into small projects to explain and test the real time issues, say a scheduling lab, etc.» (To some extent)
- The exam this year was very good, not to hard and not to easy. When looking at earlier exams, one can se a very good improvement from the examiner. Earlier exams look very hard.» (Yes, definitely)
- The time was approx 40 minutes too short. This since when answering the exam questions one must be careful to pay attention to small petty details and one needs consequently to re-read each question again and read the answers written.» (Yes, definitely)

- the administration out put was very low specially in the exercise lectures. » (Some extent)
- Teaching for the trainlab was not so good, varely "OK". An explanation may be the sudden increase of students.» (Large extent)

- Exercise material played the main role in this course which was presented in Swedish. The cover, titles and questions are in English but please loook at the solution, how would have you felt as an international student?» (Small extent)

- Labadministrationen var kaotisk. Bör vara ett system där man kan boka genom datorn. Se till att det inte blir så många extra studenter eller skaffa fler labtider och handledare.» (Rather badly)
- Hemsidan var helt enkelt dåligt designad även om allt fanns där (när man väl hittade det). Lab PM:et var ocksåv väldigt svårläst. Inga vidare konstruktioner på vad man ska göra, även om själva labben gick att göra ändå.» (Rather badly)

- Exercise teacher was so weak in communicating in English. He was not understandable.» (Rather good)
- I laborationen så verkade Arne ganska knäckt av allt som krävdes av honom så ibland fick man inte riktigt den hjälpen man behövde. Detta i samband med att han inte kunde spendera allt för mycket tid för varje grupp.» (Rather good)
- Pratade inte så mycket med Jan/Roger, de få gångerna jag försökte gick det bra. Arne var svår att få tag på och det var för många som ville ha hjälp, det behövs fler handledare. » (Rather good)

- Programming languages tog en hel del möda och besvär men man lägger ner den tid som behövs för att få det betyg man vill ha.» (Adequate)

- For all the reason explained above. Main reason is "English " problem. They ignored international students which are large part of the class.» (Poor)
- Vet inte om jag nånsin kommer ha någon anvädning av det som var nytt i den här kursen. Kändes väldigt teoretiskt.» (Adequate)
- The reason for not being "Excellent" is a consequense of the lack of resources because of sudden increase of students.» (Good)
- At an exercise session, there was one question that requested the student to use a specific verification method (for feasibility analysis). However, that method was in fact not applicable considering the values given of the task"s periods and their deadlines. (I asked if the question is really intended to be a trick question.)» (Excellent)

- Plan ahead, communicate with administration so that there are enough resources. The train lab is very hard, additional teachers are needed! Inform. students regarding the course litterature, that it is not required for the exam and so on..»
- The later part of the course with scheduling. The first part regarding concurrency should be handled rather quickly but is good if it still exists as a refresher. Ada is nice.»

- The lab has nothing to do with deadlines and such. It would fit better as a lab in parallel programming. I would also like to avoid the ADA language.»
- No more filling up the EA/EB/EC halls with students. The air conditioning cant handle it.»
- The large number of students was very noticable in the lab. Difficult to understand how student number can be underestimated by a factor 3 (or be allowed to increased by factor 3). Handled well under the circumstanses though, although 3 students per lab group is suboptimal (crowded and hard to schedule).»
- Since I got a bit lost after having seen the various methods used to verify the schedulability, I propose to introduce the overview table approx 2-3 lectures earlier (the table that shows the applicability of each verification method), and to show how each verification method about to be introduced fits in that table.»

- Good exercise sessions. Roger has a relaxed style, dry wit, and is a good teacher. Arne is good in the lab, but could do with some backup with that amount of students.»
- I was surprised that students at the exam were expected to remember (or derive) the formulas used in the feasibility analysis.»
