- It would be good if there was more courses on advaced level för e.g. transmissions and turbo systmes» (OK)
- The level of education is lower than in Delft. Courses in Delft were better organized and the content was better structured. Also, lecturers in Delft were generally better. The education in Delft felt more scientific, with more fundamental principles and the necessary mathematics being covered. Especially for a MSc program, the course content should dig deeper and really give students a good grasp of the underlying fundamentals and not just what one can do with the results.» (OK)
- displeasure at the fact that similar courses given at other universities are more updated » (To some extent)
- The level, especially during the first semester was to low. It was sometimes embarrassing when exchangw students asked us if the level usually was this low.» (To some extent)
- I feel the courses at Chalmers are general and does not focus in deep. At masters level the focus should be more deep in the subject. » (To some extent)

4. Do you believe the programme prepares you for a job as a professional engineer?

Yes definetely»3 13%

Genomsnitt: 2.68

- yes it really is helpful but there is bit more that can be done» (Somewhat)
- The program feels like it takes a middle road between fully grasping the fundamentals and being able to apply tools to an application. In my opinion, there is not enough coverage of either of the fundamentals or the application.» (Somewhat)
- With the Projects that I have done, I have learnt more. But in terms of the subjects I haven"t learnt a lot.» (Somewhat)

5. Does the programme meet your expectations?

Yes and even better than expected»1 4%

Genomsnitt: 2.28

- Jag skulle gärna se en del mer praktiska inslag. T.ex. större tillgång till verkstad och fler möjligheter att utbilda sig på maskiner.» (?)
- To low level, if youre not doing formula student you can pass the couses by almost just going to the exam and not go to the lecures.» (No, not at all)
- Having been on an exchange to ETH Zurich, I feel I learnt a lot more there in 6 months than what I did for a year at Chalmers. The fees of 280k SEK is not justified for what I have got in return. I"m slightly dissatisfied with the course structure.» (No, not at all)
- Automotive Engineering should prepare you for the skills the industry needs. Currently many of the companies seek CAE tools experience, none of which is covered in the course. In my perspective, applied mechanics people are better equipped to seek the sutomotive engineering jobs.» (No, not at all)
- The level on some courses were very low» (Yes, to some extent)
- I had expected there to be more involvement from the faculty with the Master students. There is absolutely no connection between the Master students and the teaching/research staff except for the lectures and study sessions. In Delft, there are many more shared events (social and academic) where there is an opportunity for students to mingle with professors and PhD students and really get a good idea of what is happening in the field. At Chalmers it feels more like a day job, you show up, do your work, and go home, nothing more. I have no clue what kind of work is being done in this field. In my view, that"s a huge pity, because it doesn"t stimulate students to get involved and develop a passion for the subject. In general, staff are lacking in enthusiasm and passion for the subject and this shows during the lectures and the general vibe you get as a student, you don"t really feel welcome or appreciated. A huge waste of potential.» (Yes, to some extent)
- Some disappointments include poor english skills of professors making lectures difficult to follow and very poor discipline among my fellow students. More often than not the lecture is interrupted by late arriving students and even people talking during class, and most professors don"t really do anything about it! I"d very much welcome a locked door policy at Chalmers!» (Yes, to some extent)

Excellent»1 4%

Genomsnitt: 3.68

- Add more aerodynamics and fluid courses relative with automotive field» (Rather poor)
- Like I said before, academically not as good, and not as stimulating as Delft. And I"m comparing a bachelor with a master, the master should be better, not worse!» (OK)
- It needs to be more intensive. When I came here, I was under the impression that everyone gets to work on building a car (through student formula events) That was not true as it is selection based. Workshop sessions should be introduced in the programme and the idea that people can get a license should be enforced. I think that the masters programme can be more hands on! » (OK)
- Avser studier på ITBA, Buenos Aires.» (OK)

- I let the programme head (Lennart Josefson) know very early that I was interested in the Double Degree exchange with Stuttgart, and that I would like to know more about it. It was absolutely impossible to get anything out of him, I had to beg for scraps of information, and responses to my emails were either extremely limited or completely absent. This is an absolute disgrace. An exchange program like this attracts motivated and ambitious students, so a little enthusiasm and support would go a long way.» (Not so satisfied)
- One major complaint that I have is with the invitations for attending company sessions. Often, invitations are sent only to applied mechanics students and automotive engineering students have no idea that a company session is happening somewhere. Often the roles being discussed in these sessions are of interest to automotive engineers» (Not so satisfied)

- I was in the review group for Vehicle Dynamics and the course responsible lecturer was not very willing to improve the course based on feedback, and there didn"t seem to be much pressure from the programme management to incorporate our feedback into improving the course.» (To some extent)
- Basic Vehicle dynamics in spite of receiving bad feedback every year nothing has been done.» (Could be improved)
- I think that the results are taken seriously, but the gathering of the opinions could be worked on. IMO espesially exchange students tend to not bother to give their opinion. Also many students who come from cultures where proffesors are treated with extreme respect tend to not complain in order to not offend the prof.» (Yes, definetly)
- I hope so» (No opinion)

- I get a lot of emails from organisations that are supposed to represent my interests at Chalmers (mainly the Student Union and MARM), but they are usually completely in Swedish. When I ask for an English version, I generally never get a reply or if I do get a reply it is to say that they are sorry but won"t sent me an English email. Besides this, the room booking system is in Swedish, giving non-Swedish speaking students a major disadvantage in finding suitable study places. Finally, when Swedish students are talking with teachers between lectures, they always talk in Swedish. I understand that students are inclined to do this, but as educators, the teachers should reply in English so that everyone can understand what is being said. If it pertains to the subject, no-one should be excluded from the discussion. If you advertise your university as being international, EVERYTHING should be in English!» (Yes, discriminations)
