- The general level is lower than I would expect, in regards to other universities. Chalmers needs to work on all areas of its master programmes in order to properly set itself aside as an attractive alternative among the world ranking. Today, that is not achieved, and it is obvious why when attending certain courses and seeing how badly structured they are, with bad organization and low-level content. Even exchange students feel very disappointed in having to pay for certain courses they feel they have not gained anything from. » (To some extent)

4. Do you believe the programme prepares you for a job as a professional engineer?

- The programme is good, but the reality is that it is very rare for someone who has recently finished the programme to receive a job position which correlates to the responsibility and duties the Master programme brings up, right from the start. So in a way yes, but not for a while. » (Somewhat)

- There should be another notch between "no, not at all" and "yes, to some extent" since some courses have been a real eye opener, while others have left me wondering why I am learning this in the first place. The courses vary a lot between being very overview-based and going into almost unneecesssry detail (in regards to the course contents). I feel this area in general should be worked on a lot, to make the students feel like they are attending something meaningful. Without going into too much detail, some courses need better investment in order to boost them up to today"s standards instead of having students limited to working on equipment from the late 70"s to the early 80"s. It is expensive to invest, but it is something worthwhile Chalmers should think about. Right now, the production engineering master does not make me feel as if I am studying on one of Chalmers main areas of advance.» (Yes, to some extent)

- Again, it depends largely on the course taken in question. On some courses, a lot of time is dedicated, around 40+ hours. On others, much much less. I"d be happy if I could count 7 hours in a week. The level and content is very uneven throughout the courses. » (Between 30-40/week)
- Lot of writing of hand-ins and reports that is quiet time consuming, but preferred examination type.» (Between 50-60 hours/week)

- We need peer review in all courses asap. So sick of slackers doing nothing and still passing course after course. Since there arent any routines to battle this you are guilted into just accepting it.» (Not so satisfied)

- Have a few examples where problems reappear from last year.» (To some extent)
- We have mostly the same problems as previous years. Some improvements dough.» (To some extent)
- the virtual process planning course has not been improved since last year even if it got a bad grade from the course evaluation» (Could be improved)
- Some courses have had sub-par evaluation results for several years, yet things still have not changed. In other courses, the evaluation has been taken very seriously. Again, there is unevenness in the level and consistency within the programme. » (Could be improved)
