14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The ultra filtration laboration was very helpful.»
- The lectures given by mr Rasmuson were good. The topics discussed were interesting and well explained.»
- All lectures were good, but they were to few and there was not enough information in the course! It felt more like 3 Hp than 7,5.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The tutorials. The Phd student showing the tasks must know the theory behind the tasks and must be able to answer questions. There was also breaches in the communication between the Phd and the students since she didn"t speak that good english.»
- Upload all the handouts and the powerpoints used. The exercise didn"t help at all to understand the subjects of the lectures. It was more way more confusing than adding knowledge.»
- - The assistant Kurnia Wyijanti. Here style of teaching was horrible. She couldn"t answer our questions and she didn"t follow any of our remarks. - There was a laboration about dynamic simulation. The teacher for this part did not know what to do exactly, because, as he told, he only was involved with this topic once a year, when giving this lab assignment. Therefore, no-one understood what we were supposed to do in this laboration.»
- Labs, computer labs and Kurnias/Gunnars excercises. The excercices were embarrassingly bad, felt like i was 10 years old, and the computer labs were even worse! example: "hold the mouse of this symbol, click once and wait. hold now the mouse here and click again..." - I did not learn anything from the computer labs, and in my opinion almost all students knew Aspen HYSYS better than both gunnar and kurnia - who did not know it at all! during the last lab Kurnia had solved the exercises and given us the solution, our task was to change a single value... - WAS THIS A JOKE? It is a technical University and not a kindergarten.»
- Make handouts to each leacture, too risky when you have to follow everything on overheads or on the board»
- The numerical part of the course was probably the worst thing I have experienced at chalmers. The exercises were very poorley performed. I didn"t understand anything during them and neither seemed the teacher. Since the exam didn"t have any numerical part I feel that the there should be a significant change to the exercises next year!! The last exercise is more often than not used for solving old exam questions. This should definitely be implemented in this course aswell.»
- An exercise-teacher that is more prepared and can answer questions better.»
- The excersises where not good. No clear aim of the class, the tutor did not explain much, just wrote on the board and where not prepared for questions. The dynamic simulation laboration did not give much, did not really learn anything. »

16. Additional comments

- The course was good, although, better tutorials are necessary.»
- I think the course"s professor, mr Rasmuson, is good at teaching. However, he seems not to care about the other parts of the course, so it seems. I felt sorry for miss Wyjanti, who had the task to teach us exercises that were not included in the exam. Thus, she did this work for nothing. In addition, she didn"t seem to receive any feedbackk about her teaching style. This contributes to my opinion that mr Rasmuson only cared for his own part and not for the whole course, although he is responsible for the entire course.»
- I regret that I took this course because I have hardly learnt anything. This course should be removed from MPISC or heavily changed! The thing that upsets me the most is that it is within an important topic, but hardly contains any information!»
- MAybe put a little more into the laborations, The CFD is a very time consuming course but some of the laboration where like nothing to do»
