7. To what extent has the teaching been of help for your learning?

- The lectures were often hard to follow and keep the attention up. The pace is mostly very slow and the teacher doesn"t stick to the current theme but often gets lost in stories and thoughts. Case studies are really nice to see real world examples but they should be kept brief lead to a conclusion quickly.» (Some extent)

- For the home exam the slides were fine to prepare. Still there were a lot of slides. Most lectures had more than hundred slides with a lot of swedish material inbetween and texts that were not supposed to be read. The material should definately be condensed to the message that should be communicated to the students. I would also wish for an effort to introduce more hierarchy and information visualization to the slides. There were to many long bullet point lists.» (Large extent)

- The project PM has a lot of precise information from the start but I would have liked to find the information on the website and see it updated with recent organizational information from the lecture.» (Rather badly)

- Sometimes it was hard to get together to work because everyone set other priorities in their studies and leisure time.» (Rather well)

- The course workload was quite low compared to most other courses and I think that was good. I heard more than once that teachers think we work too much and this is one of the courses that doesn"t require to work through weekends on a regular basis.» (Adequate)

- The idea of the course was really interesting but I sometimes missed more examples and I deeper view on each topic» (Fair)
- When I chose the course it was because there weren"t good alternatives. During introduction however I got the impression that it could be really interesting and useful. The execution was a bit poor unfortunately. The methods were mostly known from the methodology course so there was not too much new stuff. Interesting was to hear more about focus groups. » (Adequate)

15. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The project gave us some good experience. Especially working with the data after gathering was very valuable. Maybe the project could even get a bigger share of the course.»

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The seminaries where unstructured. For example the first should be divide in to small groups where we had read through their planing report and give them feedback. Or we should just get feedback form the teacher. The literature seminare had too many articles to read through. I rather discuss in smaller groups. »

- more practical exercises. it"s all good reding about methods, but it"s invaluable to try them out yourself before the project»
- The slides and the talks should be more structured and I think there should be more effort to prepare them so they are straight forward. We spoke several times about the bus case study and many times it wasn"t clear what should be learned from the case study. So there should be clear format like "now we"re talking about focus groups", "This is the theory", "Here is a case study", "what can we learn? what are potential problems?"»

- I did apperently not understand the course (according to dugga results) and I would have liked to get written feedback so that I could have learned something from it. I still don"t know the correct answers. »
