1. What is your general impression of the course?

- Teacher who doesn"t know English shouldn"t teach in English. » (Very poor)
- It was to unstructural and bad information about what the course was all about» (Poor)
- Unfortunately it felt like the course had too few classes. Also the way that the assignment was carried out it felt like we were back in "gymnasiet". Since there was no supervisions it felt like the quality of the assignment was quite poor. But do take into consideration that a course of this nature is not what we are used to.» (Poor)

- Since I did not have any preknowledge in this area some things were hard to pick up, but the course were on a very easy level.I dont know anything about economics, so it would be good to have explanations of what currency rate and interest means in teoretics» (little bit)

- one of the teachers had lectures nearly two hours nonstop, it is impossible to be concentrated so long» (?)
- Once again, if the course is given in English, for the love of god, make sure the lecturer masters the language. Never in my life have I been forced to listen to such botched English. It was painful in every meaning of the word.» (Very poor)

- I thought that Gunnar was a good lecturer. He explained in a way that was easy to understand and he used his humour a lot. I did not find the other lecturer (Urban?) to be very good. That is somewhat due to his lack of skills to express himself in English, in a way that is understandable.» (Average)

- I tok three courses and were tripple boked wiith a lot of mandatory thing in the other courses every thursday so I did not have the opportunity to attend the class» (25 - 50%)

- Perhaps we have been spoiled with good teachers and working administration at Computer Technology because this is by far the worse course I have ever attended.» (Very poor)

- Actually, the exam was ill prepared. There would have been much better if there would have been at least some example exams.» (Very poor)

- I had to spend ALL of my time trying to correct misspellings and poor grammar not to mention trying to get my self understood and understanding what my fellow students were trying to say. Once again, if the course is given in English then everyone should master the language in both speech and writing. This was not the case. » (Very little)

- a bit problem with some excahnge students when we woekwd with the procject. Let the student choose the own group mext time.» (Poor)
- It would have been easier if their e-mails contained readable English.» (Average)

12. Any other comments about the project, its contents and the work process?

- Please contact the companys in ahead, it is very hard to get in contact witg a CFO with such a short notice without any contact. Alternatively, let us know about the project in week 1 so the students have a better chance to plan and be able to contact a firm.»
- Friday meetings were a great way to learn stuff. It should be like this on all programming courses.»
- To late information about the content of the project, we were almost done when we got it. Bad information about how to write an opposition.»
- It"s very unfair that a part of the individual grade is depending on a group performance. If you happen to end up in an unskilled group it doesn"t really matter how good you are because as long as you don"t complete the entire assignment on your own it still wont reflect your personal skills.»
- the project was the best part of the course i really appreciate these kinds of projects.. but care shud be taken not all nationalities join in 1 group... that was a problem of finding a swedish group... luckily we got one... so was able to do the project in a gud manner»
- It started far too late! The information about wat it was about were realy poor. No one really undestood he aim of it and when it starts that late in the period yo dont have that much time to focus to make it a good work. »

- Supervisions where we can do practical examples and get help to associate it with theory, and chances to ask questions.»
- The literature should be in the course homepage before the lecture day. There should be good and sufficient number of sample maths and their solutions on the course homepage which maths are related to exam questions. Those sample maths should include all the tricky portion so that the students do not feel hard on the exam paper. If the sample maths do not contain tricky portions but in the exam the math have tricky portion, then it will have no benefit for the students. Because lack of tricky portion in the sample math, the students would not be able to answer the maths in the exam paper.»

- On my opinion, the lectures should be scheduled more for us to better understand the content.»
- I wont be to harsh since this obviously is the first course you have held but please correct the following errors until next time. Make a course homepage BEFORE the course starts. Use the course homepage for ALL information flow. Like documents, submissions and such. Do not send documents in .doc (word format), not everyone can open these in a proper way it demands proprietary software. Use pdf:s like the rest if the world. English speaking staff, this is non negotiable. An example exam for the students to try their skills on prior to the real exam. Keep the assignment if you want to, but grade the performance of each and every student independently. The time of buying expensive books has passed. The internet is the future, give the students online resources that cover the contents of the course. Other teachers have done this before, I"m sure you can do it as well. Answer e-mails. If there is no real course homepage it is imperative that the teachers answers e-mails. This was not the case in the course. All in all this was a really bad course. I have completely lost my respect for everything even remotely related to industrial economy, and it"s all thanks to you. Well done indeed.»

- May be the course lectuters have some limitations. But there should not be any question about their effort to make the students understand about the course contents. They tried their best.»
