- It felt like it was too much small stuff to do in the group assignments, so it all blurred together. It would be nice if it was more focused, and maybe with a grading as well to give incitaments for more effort! » (To small extent)
- MAny of the questions for the shop floor assignmnet was very hard to answer since it was so hard to find literature. 23. Lectures: What was good, what needs improvements and what would you suggest?

- Good and relevant, not much to add.»
- lectures were well organised, the presentation slides were SOMETIMES slightly too minimalistic and thus lacked structure and clearness. »
- I"m an international student and can"t understand the slides in Swedish, especially the Swedish in picture form that I can"t copy and paste them in google translate. Of couse it"ll be quicker to just ask Swedish students but I still hope all in English. The same improvement is for the course lean production. »
- In my eyes the slides were not of that good quality. Usually if you miss a lecture (e.g of sickness) a student should be able to learn the content on his own from the slides easily. I think this wasn"t the case. To sum it up: the slides are not made for self studies.»
- It was good that it was quite few lectures, then you pay attention to the ones you really have. »

24. Literature seminars: What was good, what needs improvements and what would you suggest?

- A little too extensive, too harsh on the grading in my opinion.»
- Substantial contribution to learning outcome, sometimes it was difficult to see coherence between the papers though. Workload regarding papers was quite high.»
- Since we would possibly have to do rework after the senimar, it could be better that we can discuss some of the questions in the report instead of only discussing the own questions. So we can understand more and do the complement better.»
- Although it was always a lot to read, when I think back, it was a great doing that.»
- I liked them, quite good questions! It gave you the chance to dig down in some subjects from the start, which is good for learning»

25. Group assignments: What was good, what needs improvements and what would you suggest?

- Interesting but too harsh on the grading/examination. Case assignments rarely get to be complemented in other courses, even if they need to be passed. if many groupes got to complement their case reports after the course is over it is a sign of a failed timeplan for the course.»
- As the lectures were cancelled for the 2nd week, the workload were concentrated in the following week. We have different groups for this course and the other course and everyone has some personal stuff. And not everyone in the group selected the same course. So we have different schedules and can"t meet often. This is ok for other group assignments, however, this assignment material is in Swedish. So we can"t do it without translation. Swedish classmates are very kind. They outlined the processes first. But actually I didn"t get all the details. If the movies were in English, I can watch them over and over to understand them. I know Swedish is very important here but this is not a course about language and culture...»
- Some people thought we were too many people in a group as most of the time was spent on arguing about formal details and meeting date setting. It would have been more efficient and less time consuming with smaller groups (although I see the benefits regarding your checking and our group discussions)»
- It was an interesting task, however since we had so much else to do at the same time, it felt like all of the groups just wanted to get it done - especially the second part of the case. I think the fact that it is only pass/fail is contributing to this. »
- Make it more focused, maybe make it so that it they represent 20% of the grade in total or 30%, that way you really start to care for the project itself! As it was now, it was easy to make it second priority and not caring because it is easy to fail and then just fix what needs to be fixed, it is often easier than putting down a lot of effort and then get it passed the first time.»

26. What should be changed concerning the course?

- The written examination is a little too extensive, considering that we already achieved a grade 3 by passing seminars etc. In the written exam we still had to perform 30 out of 50 points to get a grade 4 (starting from 0), even though we already collected an equivalent of 20 points from passing seminars and case reports. This actually makes the exam on a total of 70 points and puts the grades 4 and 5 at 50/70=71% and 60/70=86%, respectively. Which is not fair compared to the usual Chalmers guidelines of 60% and 80%, respectively. »
- Nothing :)»

27. Comments and other remarks

- Nice with Lars as an enthusiastic lecturer!»
- The workload was concentrated in the third and fourth week due to lecture cancellation. Also the last guest lecture was cancelled. The schedule should be improved to be more heijunka. »
- Thank you for the coffee! :) And a big compliment to Lars Medbo. I haven"t seen many professors with such big enthusiasm for their subject and the will to really teach. »
- I really felt that the teacher Lars was too biased when it came to how he viewed the world of production flows, what is good (kitting, Uddevalla, parallelization etc.) and what was less good (continous supply, line assembly...) in how the slides were designed, and what was focused on! For example, kitting had like 20 slides in one Power Point while Continous supply only had a few. I think it needs to be more balanced! »
