- I attended the first week of class then not anymore» (0%)
- I would have prefered less computation, and more culture about composites and their manufacture. Also I found it very disappointed that this was not assessed at the exam (exam was only about mechanic calculation wheread we also had some general courses about composites)» (50%)

- When coming to the computer room for help on the assignments, the teaching assistant was not very available. One friday morning he came to the computer room at 7:55am and asked how many people needed help whereas only 2 or 3 groups were already here then he left and we never saw him again. 5 more groups came in at 8:05am but they never got the chance to get help from him.» (Rather poor)
- Didnt always get answers to questions. I understand the idea but it is hard to learn something when all you do is guessing. I dont need the right answer but I want to know if I´,m on the right path, and if not, a hint about how to get there. We are not only looking at the bonus points but to learn how to do!» (Rather poor)

- The assignment took too much time in the end of the course, to close to the exams. Would be better if the last deadline was one week earlier, that extra pressure might help most of the student to study more on the exam.» (Adequate)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- I am thankful that the "Navier"s solution"-question did not appear on the exam. Hopefully it will not be on the next exams either. Maybe its possible do accomplish with a good calculator but NOT with the Chalmers approved ones. Performing matrix inversion is not something I will do by hand in the future and I have already shown I can do that in math courses. It"s better to remove this parts and add an extra assignment and reduce the exam to more theoretical questions.»
- The lecture was too boring and could be made more energetic.»
- The tutorials could be more detailed. Only the method is explained but sometimes, it would have been good to have also the details in calculation»

- It could be good to not only have the answers for the homeproblems, but have a solution. It is deficult to see where the mistake is when you only have the final awsner. »
- Check the assignments for errors and also correct the solutions to the old exams. Implement matlab as a part of the exam. No need for hand calculations »
- We should learn more facts and theory about composite materials in general. It should be questions on the exam that contains useful and overall facts about different composite materials. Now i just feel that i can calculate something that i barely don"t know what it is.»

- Matrix calculations on the exam, they are irrelevant/unnecessary and take way to much time on the exam! It is already sufficient to have it in the linear algebra course! Take it away and add another question on the exam instead.»

- Interesting course with good teachers! »
- Lecture notes (not the presentation slides): Maybe you could also include the lecture number in the chapter and formula numbers of each document. Each lecture startet with chapter 1 and formula (1) and so on. When browsing through all lectures, it is hard to orientate. So, one could do it like this: in lecture 6, for example, the first chapter is denoted as "6.1" instead of "1" and the formulas are denoted "6.xy" instead of "xy". »
- A better exam would be nice. The previous exams were more clear and followed to course better»
