- I would prefer the appliance of the the theories in practice rather than an old fashioned theory-based exam...» (To some extent)
- too many questions were you just learn a number, i.e. things that you can easily just look up when you need to know the exact figures. for example, it"s good to know about saccades and the consequence of them, but not to know by heart the exact ms they take » (To some extent)
- The examination, the graded part, considered only the theorical knowledge gained through the course, not the actual ability to use it as we had many tasks and projects without grading.» (To some extent)
- The multiple choice questions relied a lot on memorizing facts. The essay part didn"t test my skills very much.» (To some extent)

- It is really hard to keep up with reading the book. It is not really easy to read. There are so many facts and details and it"s hard to tell which parts can be skipped. Further it is hard to remember the things that were read. There is no real guided application of the rules during the labs and in the end I could not answer the exam questions from reading the corresponding chapters. The exam was only doable because we could learn with the questions/quiz and search for answers beforehand.» (Small extent)

- The workload was ok during the course but was really going bad during the project phase which was really short and at the same time as other courses.» (High)

- One good teacher, two bad ones ,( However I did not attend to very many lectures» (Poor)
- it has some problems (mentioned earlier), but it"s these kinds of courses, when you include psychology and such into the design thinking, that I think should be taught more at ixd.» (Good)
- It might get some improvements on lectures and feedback sessions, however it was pretty good.» (Good)

- I didn"t like to be evaluated only on the reading of a book and the quantity of knowledge i get from it. We put much effort in tasks and project which were not graded at all.»
- The exam. Maybe a section that tests the skill at constructing an actual interface would be better at assesing the skill of the student.»
- the specifics of everything, is it really important for an interaction designer to know how big the viewing angle is? Keep it more general. And is it important with 2h lecture on x-ray, ultrasound and cancer for an interaction designer?»

- I would like to have some more application of rules on specific labs with information visualization or interface design. The labs were not really connected to the course content. We just did our typical design process. It is hard to get real rules from the lectures or the book. Color theory and gestalt laws are really useful but we were on our own to draw our lessons from that and apply it. Maybe there could also be some evaluation of given designs with the guidelines in mind.»
