- Too hard exam !!! » (To some extent)
- I felt that project 2 mainly assessed how well I remembered building physics and not as much how well I understood FEM.» (To some extent)
- But to high work load, » (Yes, definitely)

3. How was the work load in this course?

15 svarande

- HArdly did any work in the other course during first 6 weeks. Insane work load in FEM» (Very high)

4. What should definitely be preserved for the next year?

- Projects! Very helpful to understand The course »
- Project and exam combo. May no exam, since he project is that long before the exam. »
- Projects»
- Computer exersice with teachers»
- the old exams are very useful for students to review things they have learned, and also give a very direct direction to accomplish the exam.»
- Projects»
- Its good to have more projects, the more we have the more we learn , but the time is not enough to do them, So i will suggest that for future students, 2 projects could reasonable to do and have time to study other course (H&M). »
- The projects and the grading system.»
- The structure of the course, ie three projects + exam»

5. What should definitely be changed for the next year?

- More tutor time for the projects. Introduction to the fem programs could be in computer classrooms. »
- The exams and the project are to close. Should be able to correct projects and/or a extra project to complete the course. »
- 4 hour classes are too long»
- Collaboration between H&M and FEM regarding consultation on Project 2»
- Exam really needed?»
- Provide better introduction of the course projects, not just presence of tutors to ask questions from the very beginning. Provide better preparation for the students regarding their skills in Matlab or try to change the projects in a way that they are more in the structural engineering field, not so much about programming. »
- Project 2 for those who don"t take the heat and moisture course. It would be better if it was about heart, instead of moisture.»

7. Additional comments not covered by previous questions:

- Good course! »
- I am an erasmus student. I was not aware, that there would have been a MatLab introduction at the beginning of the 1.(!!) Period for a course of the 2.(!!) period. Therefore I - and many others - had huge problems. Please change that for the next year.»
- Way to much pressure and to much to do. »
- should be more points on the projects and exam to give a more fair and correct judgement»
- Try to provide feedback for a handed in project before the next one is started and to be in a such a way that mistakes in the next projects are avoided. Set up more clear requirements about the way that the results from the project should be provided, e.g. how big the comments should be, what kind of pictures should be included, how to organize the report (what to be in the main part and what in the appendix). Try to come up with equal requirements regarding the way of assessment from the different tutors. »
