- Bad information about what to hand in and how. Submission system didn"t work for the major part of the course.» (Very badly)
- Horrible! During the first week, Peter says that we are going to have hand-ins and a system is being set up for this. No direct guidelines are given. In week 5, the system is apparently set up but still no direct guidelines for hand-ins. Complete disaster!» (Very badly)
- Have to give more information. Still dont know on which workshops you should have writen a reflection.» (Very badly)
- You know the problem with the blog. But for me the biggest problem was that we got no useful info about these things, an example is that I didn"t knew when the blog was up and running because I got no email and no blogpost/news post on the homepage. And we got no into on which exercises we should blog about, and what to include in the posts. One early blogpost said that we should get information about what to write about but no such info were given. I have never before done such blog reflections, and I would have appreciated if we could have posted the first reflection quite early and then got feedback on if there were some areas we needed to write in another way.» (Very badly)
- Very badly isn"t enough... » (Very badly)
- Web page worked well, but much of the course was quite messy, for example hand in of reflections.» (Rather badly)

- Bad system for schedule. Horrible system for assignments with a stupid blog system and got no feedback.» (Rather badly)
- Very late possibility to submit reflections.» (Rather well)
- there was problem with the way we should submit reports on workshops, we could not do that right after the workshop,in result it was left for examination week, increasing workload at the end of the course» (Rather well)

- Probably a good course but the administration was so bad that the whole course took damage from it.» (Poor)
- Some workshops were really fun but the lack of information about everything made it very hard and stressful for us students. We did"t get any feedback on anything we did.» (Poor)
- confusing information about the reflections. unclear what the roles of the different teachers were.» (Adequate)
- I would have preferred to receive more feedback on the week"s projects and in some cases the projects should be better defined and more challenging.» (Good)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- guest lectures»
- The workshops were definitely great!»
- Workshops»
- All the fun workshops.»
- Arduino»
- Great guest lectures I especially liked the sound design and the 3D printing workshop»
- * Sound workshop was good but dont have to be that long!»
- Workshops»
- The many different workshop where you learned a lot.»
- Arduino»
- The guest lectures»
- The guest lecturers and the different workshops (which were fun)»
- Bambuser lecturer.»
- guest lectures were very interesting and helped to widen perspective on the subject, I like that we had a chance to work with diverse materials »
- The teamwork. The wide range of prototyping in different forms.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- More organized workshop reflection system»
- Teachers should probably be better prepared before course start. Ways to hand in assignments as well as a clear idea of what the assignments should contain and how they will be used in the grade should be in place before course start.»
- Organisation for submission»
- Better information.»
- Should maybe be clearer what you"re supposed to reflect upon when doing the workshop reflections. And how much you should write.»
- The handin stuff was really messy. Apart from that it was a little bit confusing if the reflections are mandatory. It was clear that these reflections were primarily for our exam preparation and it was good to motivate us to do that. So in the end clear instructions like "workshop X, Y and Z must be handed in the rest is not needed but are recommended as preparation" would have been appreciated.»
- Peter»
- Better organized labs. Perhaps presenting an idea for students to prototype instead of expecting them to have a good idea at hand. OR cooperate with methods more and there creating ideas for prototyping.»
- * More sketching, creating mockups, wireframes etc. Give us exercises to protoype a webpage for different target groups: kids, students etc. * Good that the project was removed from the exam week, it would never have worked out otherwise. * Nie to have Workshop in photoshop/illustrator things that we will actually work with. Less workshops in clay, lego etc. * Think it is better to have the game workshop in flash as last year. * Would be nice to have a exercise where we are supposed to design our own portfolio, not during the exam week but like week 3-4 or something. * The exam week are from Saturday to Saturday! Give us the exam in time. Do not make the deadline longer, this will create lots and lots of problems with the other courses that starts in the next period. * There has not been any feedback what so ever in the course. Hard to know what to write in the exam! Would be good to have some feedback on something at least.»
- Hand in system»
- The web page and give out the literature earlier.»
- Remove all these lessons and subjects that has nothing or very little to do with prototyping in interaction design, like larp, creative processes and bambuser.»
- Random groups. Then people have to work together with new group members for every task.»
- The course administration»
- The structure of the course, the home exam (there must be more focus on quality than quantity), the planning, the information must be clearer to the students... We students want to have at least some feedback on the things we do. »
- Assignment submission system.»
- it should be possible to submit reports on the workshops through the course, not only at the end, the home exam could have been more structured and more specific »
- The way of getting evaluations and feedback on projects.»
- Maybe exam should be about prototyping something, not about writing an essay.»

16. Additional comments

- we had way too much time for the sound prototyping exercise»
- I enjoyed the prototyping and was surprised that we could try out that many types in such a short time»
- I was very pleased with the course but when we start here we are all new students even though we have done university studies before more support might be needed.»
- Good course. Enjoyed to get the chance to try out many different prototyping methods and materials!»
- Use the course book, it was good, and very good together with the work book»
- The course seems to be well prepared, it has a very fast pace and covers very wide range of topics. »
