9. Comments about teaching and course administration

- Very Good.»
- At the first compulsory fackspråk-meeting there was a homework given out. This should be prepared before the next fackspråk-meeting. However it was never uploaded on the course homepage which I think would have been the right thing to do.»
- The technical writing should have been introducing in the first period of the masters program»
- Our project team was left merely without supervisor assistance in terms of teaching. Therefore, this course project is considered a "personal effort to teach oneself". Even though we were given a few lectures delivered by guest, these lectures contributed too little to knowledge compared to other courses. Some of the lectures and discussions were just a poor repetition of what we could read in the books.»
- I want to thank the teachers for a great work and for all their help!»

15. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The interesring project topics.»
- More guidance needed, no point of banging of being stuck at some problems for weeks. This is not how the industry works»

- It very good to get the practical experience and to try to solve the practical problems yourself. But we need a lot of help from teachers to solve the problem. I think this shows that there is a lack of practical knowledge in the overall studies. »

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- More active supervision.»
- The projects should be able to be completed. »
- The prerequisites to the course MUST meet the tasks asked for in the project!! We had some tasks to work on but we never had courses to study such topics. The project scope could be smaller and thus the output would be more accurate. Some students had really hectic month in the project, they struggled to find the data asked for without success and after all got poor knowledge on the material. Real life projects are of much better educative quality. »

- The teacher Alexander did a very good job and made a lot of effort as he can and was so helpful and he arranged visits useful visits for us. and I would like to thank him a lot.»
- I probably failed my other course this period. I belive the main reason to this is that I didn"t get enough time to study, since the design project took way to much time. I don"t know what could be changed but perhaps one could look over the course structure and se if something could be removed. Moreover, I find it odd that some students were supposed to work with the environment Labview when there, as far as I know, is no one at Chalmers that really understand this program. This was a really frustrating issue which consumed a lot of unecesseary time. »
- Very good course that cultivates teamwork and encourages the students to take initiatives. »
- Some teachers had to many project to oversee. The maximum should be 1 tutor each project to be able to assist with keeping the project going.»
