- the tempo was a bit too fast at some times. but the short lectures helped to keep myself focused quite well for the whole lecture.» (Good)

- Captures important aspects of simulations as far as I know. Would had been fun to use GPRSim(?) though, but if people say it is too difficult then maybe it is.» (Good)

16. Is there anything you think should be changed until next year?

- maybe include some basics about computer vision (algorithms) used in robots.»
- In my opinion everything is going fine and shouldn"t be changed.»
- You could have longer lectures, covering also material that is beyond the course goals. It would be interesting to hear more about current research, deeper algorithms and so on, but you don"t have to change the course goals.»

17. Would you recommend this course to other students? Why?

- Yes. Simply because it is a good course. Especially the home problems have been fun to do and I think the next part will be fun as well. »
- yes. it seems to give you a good starting knowledge about robotics. covers a lot of interesting topics.»
- If they are interested in the topic, yes. It is a good and thorough background of autonomous robots, and good with the coming autonomous robot. »
- I will recommend this course to other students, because you can put on practice your theoretical knowledge in this course and this course is well structured, so you know what and why you are doing.»
- Yes, it has a good connection between theory and practice, and is very interesting.»

18. Which areas do you think should be covered in more (or less) depth?

Topics covered: Autonomous robots, kinematics and dynamics, robot simulation, animal behavior, behavior-based robotics, navigation, exploration, localization, utility, behavior selection

- I think the scope of the course is good as it is. »
- exploration, animal behaviour (which was pretty interesting)»
- The algorithms was most interesting, however I do not know if there are any other that would fit within the course. »
- In my opinion behavior selection should be covered in more depth.»
- exploration, navigation (how to use non-square grids), utility (how to set parameters)»
