- The case was good, but when you ask questions outside supercvision, you must get an adequate answer. It is better for you to say that you can not answer that at that point than answering something that is not true. Good that we got the reflections back before exam.»

8. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- less focus on the academic part of the articles and more on their implications for practisioners.»
- The lectures!»
- The way the seminars are carried out or more specifically, the 1000 word reflections that follows when a student miss one occasion. This feels more like a punishment or scare tactic rather than something useful. Instead of spending this much time on the articles, the project could be more substantial.»
- The 1000 words per article if you are not attending. When the schedule comes that late it is not fair workload for missing a seminar, especially when it becomes so different for missing different seminars. It would be more fair to demand 2000 or 2500 words per seminar. »
- 1. more practical examples, lecture with someone from a company working with OS would help 2. the seminars were too long and too uninspired. It would be so much better if Mats designed questions to reflect upon (like in Ida"s course) and then we could start the discussion with those. Also, 3 hours is way too much! 3. the exam was a little weird with the first 3 questions giving as many points as the last two but with half the space. So everybody just ended up pushing in as many words as possible on the 3 first questions instead of trying to write nicely. 4. the project was good but it would have been better to just have a "dugga" instead of an exam and give more points for the project because that was pretty much where i learnt what I know in this course»
- The general organisation of the case. A demand to find a company that early means you might rush that decision and end up with a bad choice leading to a bad report.»

- more should be discussed about the models in the book by slack about how they work in real life adaptation, in companys and more, maybe at the end of the course before the presentation or at the end of the final presentations »

- The more academic articles in the seminars did not add to the learning outcome from the course. »

- The litterature seminars. They did not give anything. There must be some kind of guidelines for the reflections. One suggestion for better litterature seminars is to have prepared questions to answer beforehand. Another suggestion is that the teachers are responsible for the litterature seminare, discussing the questions handed out beforehand.»
- More real-life examples during lectures, more guest lectures. Perhaps include service management as well. The seminars should be in some other form, perhaps clearer guidelines are required. Some articles should be changed. Be told that numbered headlines are required for the report. Since it could be fixed in 2 seconds it feels a bit harsh to loose a point over it.»

- It would be nice if the teachers show more interest both in the topic and in the students. I did not feel that the teachers really were interested in being there.»

- The project and group work was a struggle since most of the group was really unmotivated and didn"t care nor finished their appointed tasks on time or with quality.»
- In future more focus on the application of the gained knowledge rather then simply repeating it. Not only to name three perspectives on trade-offs but instead to discus how the notion of trade-offs are important in the practical context. »
- The teachers feels detached to the course. More well-planned lectures. »
- Didn"t learn much more during the seven weeks than I did during the Operation Strategy week of the TEK145 course (QOM). Had higher expectations of the course The two courses in study period 2 (Design for Quality and Integrated Product Development) had a better balance (and the seminars gave more as well).»
