Azras lecture and Henriks lecture were very good as well. Michaels accidents lecture was easy to follow and interesting as well. Trent"s lecture showed another view of secondary tasks and distraction which was good as well.» (Good)

- Since the supervisor of the lab was not located at chalmers and we had no way of calling him it was hard to get help if you got stuck. If you needed help with the lab you had to send an e-mail and did not get answers until about 2-3 days time. This is not acceptable when the lab is such a big part of the course.» (Rather poor)
- The moment where we need more help for the lab is in the first 2 or 3 weeks of the course, to see if we understand correctly and to solve problems we encounter at the begining, which is common. Having only 1 session in the first month is not good because you may loose a lot of time. This is specially true considering that we can not find Henrik at Chalmers. Also, I once wrote a question through e-mail to Henrik and never got a response (although another time I did). Please be careful with that, we need those answers! I would say it"s imperative to have session for the lab on every week of the course.» (Rather poor)
- It would be good to have more schedueled lab time.» (Rather good)
- But it sucks that the whole teach-team is located on Lindholmen.» (Very good)

- To some extent. But it is not enough.» (Yes)
- If the questions are of the same level as those of the exam, of course.» (Yes)
- It would, if we would remember all questions. But i guess in general they are good to point out the most important parts of the lecture.» (Maybe, please explain below)

30. It is most important that true/false questions:

Rangordningsfråga. Siffran anger medelposition.

1.Cover all points in the lecture1.1
Do not take too much time away from the lecture1.1
3.Other, please explain below1.3
4.Are not too easy1.5

- The most important thing is that the most relevant things are covered so that you know what is importante.» (?)
- It is good to divide the course and make competition, but not everytime, just every now and then.» (?)

31. It is best to get answers to true/false questions from:

Rangordningsfråga. Siffran anger medelposition.

1.From individuals picked by the last student who answred0.8
2.From teams (as we did this year)1
3.From individuals picked by the teacher1.1
4.From volunteers1.2
5.Other, please explain below1.8

- Because then you are motivated as a group to do good and also because if someone really do not want to answer then there are others that will. Nobody is forced to answer in this way.» (?)
- teams with maximal 3 persons. speaking inside the group was not possible» (?)
- All are valid, just make sure to vary between the options. Also, be careful to not make a chosen student be embarrased or feel ambushed. Then all the effort with this activities would be lost.» (?)
- I guess teams are good.. so that you don"t point out one student "infront" of the "whole" class. No problem for me personally, but maybe someone would have a problem with it. It"s nice with teams to get some feeling of competition.» (?)

32. How much time should the true/false session take in a 45 min lecture?

- Best course I have taken at Chalmers. I love this topic. The lab really helps in learning a lot.» (Excellent)

34. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- Have more lab times»
- Lab, exercises as they are (specially the CAN exercise, it is excellent), true or false, visits, Kip Smith.»
- Human factors and Kip.»
- Lab»

35. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- I think that it is better to not have minus points on the exam because it makes you really hesitate to answer questions even though you feel quite sure that it is the right answer because you do not want to risk to loose points.»
- some issues should be discussed deeper some should be just touched»
- Sessions for lab once every week at least. Also, Henrik should be a little bit more active on those sessions.»
- make lectures on FOT, NDS more alive!!! Show examples!»

36. Additional comments

- If the exam is based on information on the hand-outs by the teachers, based on their lectures, these hand-out should contain all the information which will be asked on the exam. There should not be any questions on the exam on things the teacher has just said in the lectures. If you miss one lecture you would miss this information, and this does not seem fair.»
- A comment for Marco: It is good that you try to explain things as if it were for dummies, that is always better than to assume we should know some things. However, be careful because there is a fine line there when you over-do dummy explanations after a student has made a question. Then the student who asked may feel his/her question was stupid, be embarrased and never want to ask again.»
