- 1) assignments should finish a good deal before the exam. Too little time to prepare. 2) More systems to choose from so we can be exposed to various architectures.»

- The lectures have the potential to be interesting, but then the whole lecture is just a list of definitions. There is no need to bomb people with definitions, we"ve got books. What we want from the professor is rather to raise an interest for the subject. If we are nearly one hundred at the first lecture and less then twenty at the last, it cannot be just students fault. The project. We learn in the first five minutes of the first lecture that the architect is one, a one man show, and then we"re doing a project in groups of eight... This is how it currently works: one person does the job, a second person follows, there may be a third person who tries to be interested but three people at the same screen are just too many so he/she gives up after some time, the rest of people are bored to death. So this is my suggestion, no more than three people per group. Reduce the complexity of the projects (otherwise it would be unfeasible for you to correct all of them) but at least you include all of the students in the project work. Currently, at least half of the students don"t get anything from this activity, just waste their time.»

- OSATE is a good but buggy tool. It would be good to tell us some things about those bugs before we start using the tool. A more complete manual would be welcome, too. »
