- could be more time-efficient» (Fair)
- First, the course is not about ethics (except half a session), so I found the title a bit misleading. The content itself was not uninteresting per se, but there was way too much repetition, not enough practical examples, case studies, etc.., so a lot of room for improvement. » (Adequate)
- Some repetitions in the lectures.» (Adequate)
- It is really helpful for our research by supplying us another viewpoint to look at it. But maybe the total hours are a little more consider it is a 3.5 course.» (Good)
- great communiction» (Good)

* HOW: Various ways to utilize research, when they are applicable, and conse-quences of choices.
* WHO: Awareness of what you as a researcher can do in the utilization process, when support is needed and who can provide it.

- I think it is quite difficult to make a innovation strategy for a research group if we are only at the first year. By the way it was good to think about our group in these terms.» (Most of them)
- It would be nice if the goals are described shortly in the first lecture and the schedule of the course dicussed.» (Most of them)

3. What did you like most about the course? What should we not change?

- discussions-inviting people to share their journeys»
- Freedom to research and related exercise.»
- Liked the exercise where we checked out the key capabilities in our research group.»
- Intellectual Assets, Innovation strategy»
- The exercises are definitely something that shall be kept since their outcomes are the things you learn most about.»
- Atmosphere was perfect! I really liked it!! You should continue course to be based on sharing knowledge, communication between participants. It"s really cool!»
- - The cake in the final session - The session about ethical implications when doing research (the example being used was medical studies) - The session about "my research journey" was quite interesting»
- Group discussion. »
- F2F»
- The guest speakers sessions are good, also the handout material of the course is nicely organized(e.g. dropbox).»
- The structure of the course was very good, and the interaction between students and teachers was excellent. I think you may do more practical work during the class, like start the assignments during the class. just to have real time assist for it. »
- Templates, assignments, Guest lectures in "My Research Journey" was fabulous.»
- The analysis of assets in one"s project was a very useful activity, should definitely be preserved.»
- Intellectual assets »
- Information Presentation of the information Examples given»

4. How can we improve the course even further by adding, reducing, or changing something?

- The invited speaker session (My Research Journey) might be more condensed. Instead of telling the entire life stories, important points e.g. decisions or things to look at should be highlighted»
- Perhaps less repetition and more new material instead.»
- reducing some hours maybe. I found there are some common contents in different part of the course. and also some common part about Patent with a course in Library.»
- Some lectures are rather repetitive. Some slides were used even in 3 different lectures. I believe the the aspect of "Ethics" is not fully studied and everything is more focused on "Intellectual Property".»
- To invite more researchers telling their personal stories. And some of topics were repetitive during different seminars. Maybe it"s better to shine for a while for another topic and not to just repeat an information that we heard before. »
- - Never ever give the same presentation twice, even though the first time it was not held by the correct speaker - My personal feeling was that there was not enough content, and too much repetition of the same content - The examination and exercises in the form of short presentations is sometimes dreadfully long and many people seem to loose interest after 3 or 4 speakers»
- Not set the schedule too tight. »
- The ethical discussions»
- Maybe on could have more references, more examples, of various cases regarding IPR (patents, copyright etc.), intellectual assets, type of collaborations that innovationskontor has created, and more info on funding agencies. »
- I think you can invite some senior PhD to talk, because we had presentation only of senior, entrepreneur, or professor, but have someone closer to us could be nice as well-»
- The course is too extensive for being only a 3p course. Either reduce the scope and keep a narrow focus, or change it to a 7.5p course.»
- Lectures can be shortened...instead of giving a lecture for 3 hours may be 2 hours would be sufficient for the content provided. »
- I thought the course is too long for only 3.5 credits. I dont want to remove anything but it would be nice to increase the credits so that it does good justification to the course.»
- I think you should change the lesson about my research journey distributing the presentations of guestes in different days, for istance at the end of other lessons. That day was interesting but after two presentations it became boring. You should reduce the lessons about the patent and be more focus on alternative way to use the research, not everyone will apply for a patent in the future»
- More ethics considerations»
