- I saw during the first lecture that the teacher was speaking A LOT but without making his point. He used slides overcharged. That"s why I didn"t attend many lectures.» (25%)
- The lectures were boring! The lecturers basically just read the slides with a monotonic voice. More interaction please» (25%)

- Messy formulations of the questions, especially the one in assignment 1, where Porters theories should be compared to some other guys, or something like that. Was very ambiguous, and I have gathered that I apparently answered it as it formulated on the paper rather than how it it was explained on a lesson (the way that was expected) » (Average)

- Depends on how the question is interpreted. Since I stopped paying attention in classes, they were the main source of information. Since most information were either statistics, or conclusions such as "research has proven that the telecom infrastructure in the poorest parts of Africa is very poor", I would not say it gave any long lasting impressions that I will ever find useful.» (Some extent)

- First time I take a course in Chalmers which feels like a waste of time. I have no general problem with taking a course which has more of a social science aspect rather than natural sciences, and have studied some economics and management on my own accord. Little if anything in this courses contents though have felt worthwhile, and left any impressions I think I will carry with me. I"m just very glad that there are other ways to contribute to welfare and global social issues than ICT and that it is unlikely that I will ever have to work with the bureaucracy of the European Parliament.» (Poor)
- I have studied 4 years at Chalmers, 0,5 year at Handelshögskolan in Göteborg, 0,5 year in a university abroad. This is the first time I experience a course as utterly superfluous. I don"t really like the Idea of MTS courses being mandatory to get the "civilingenjörsexamen". I can get the hope that all engineers won"t be introvert geeks only knowing things about their field of science. Forcing them the take 7,5 points of this, or architecture, or whatever won"t change that though. I would say it all comes down to the personalities, attitudes and interests of the students anyway. Crystallizing the field "Human, technology and society" into a course which is more or less only about telecom infrastructure, and furthermore presenting it to its fullest dryness, did not exactly change this opinion of mine. I"m sorry, but this felt like a complete waste of time.» (Poor)
- I don"t feel that I"ve learn so many things. It was quite boring. Too much speaking about IT and nothing else : I"m in mechanical engineering, and I was not the only one!, so please : speak about something else than IT !!!» (Fair)
- I would say that not only an engineering or a science study will help an graduate student, but also some courses like TEK225 which reflects the impact of technology on society will help us to visualiza more.» (Excellent)

18. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- lecture slides»
- cut the take home exam in several parts.»
- Takehome exams, individual reflection report. And offcourse Chalita and Erik!»
- The timing and three take-home exams during the quarter instead of one at the end.»
- Project work »
- Home exams»
- The system of three take home exam, because it one of them don"t interest us, the others can be very interesting. That is the case here. The first one, i less interesting than the others.»

19. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- literature?»
- - Speak more about something else than IT - use more examples !!! I feel like I have just read books during this course. We need something alive - too much workload for homework !!!!»
- No project report. »
- In my opinion we should work more like exercise session, I mean, a little bit less lectures but replace by discussion and case studying sessions.»
- The whole focus on ICT.»
- I feel the current course plan would work effectively.»
- More lecture support not juste power point on the web site. A writing course can be helpful.»

20. Additional comments

- N.A»
- Thanks for a great course!»
