- My first impression of the 4-quarter system at Chalmers was not good at all. I think that such a system leaves almost no freedom for self-study of the subjects as the student sees fit, considering his/her background, strengths/weaknesses, etc.» (Poor)
- Lectures and assignments.» (Good)
- Good course and even greater course book (the one written by Lars Davidsson).» (Excellent)

24. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- The last week with only repetition was really good. It gave the time needed to go over everything a second time and see how it all comes together. It should absolutely be kept to next year and, if possible, recommended to other examinators if they want us students get a deeper knowledge for the future and not just knowledge to pass the exam.»
- Less derivations..more comments on the physical definitions.»
- The course goals»
- lecture notes, summarys»
- The assignments were good.»

25. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Again, with the 4-quarter system I can not see much room for improvement.»
- The lab demonstration. The wind tunnel part was good.»
- one AS instead of two»
- The continuum mechanics part did not seem of great relevance to the exam. So the two options are: include more of continuum mechanics on the exam or include less of the continuum mechanics at the beginning of the course.»
-
- don"t think the reddy book is necessary»

26. Additional comments

- I will write a more comprehensive review and submit it via email soon.»
