- Applied ICM projects were great but Andrew"s examination was testing logic and reasoning. It is "dumbing down" of things and I think that students should come to M.Sc. education already having such skills. ProSun patent strategy case was so much more "Applied" than Oferion"s case this fall. Nevertheless, it was a great exercise ("go lean" way).» (To some extent)

- We had one person in our group with a really bad attitude that also said several times that he was not interested in the group project or to put time into working together. However he still questioned the way that the rest of the group did the work and a lot of time was spent on first to explain to him what the lectures he missed addressed and argue for why we where working according to these. This took a lot of energy from the group and I would have wished that there could be some way to exclude students like this from the group work. The situation helps to teach the other group members how to handle the situation that might occur in "real life" but I would like to argue that this person shouldn"t have been part of a group working in "real life" either. As much as I appreciate the opportunity to handle group conflicts I would have liked to be able to put more energy and time into apply the theory we have learned from this and previous semesters at ICM. » (Rather well)

- It"s needed.» (Excellent)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- Applied ICM projects, Andrew"s case has to be thought through even though the content is great. As I said, it tests logic and reasoning, perhaps the same results can be accomplished in a few workshops or two assignments (shorter timeframe).. »
- The entire course, for me it"s like the last piece of the puzzle to fully understand the concepts and theories we have been taught during the previous semesters. Invaluable. »

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Bring Tobias, Erik, Henrik for lecturing and projects. Honestly.»
- Perhaps call the project group leaders from CIP PS for coaches instead, let the lectures be more like seminars where we also can learn from the other project groups experiences in relation to the subject of the day and be harder with students that don"t live up to the expectations and deadlines. E.g. if all lessons are to be mandatory, don"t let the students who"s not there get away without an extra assignment. Especially not with the motivation used by the course leaders that our class has done such a great job on the group projects, because it"s not the persons not being at the lecture that have contributed to those good group projects. »

16. Additional comments

- I don"t know what Gregory was doing in this course. Reading from slides about corporate finance which we can freely access ourselves? Then rhetorics about applied projects. It seems like he uses IIE for expanding his network vs adding value for students and staff. No substance in teaching. That is why I would prefer to have lectures from Henrik, Tobias or Erik.»
- Great course, at the right time in the education. Could be even better if more high-tech projects from Chalmers could be incorporated so that it"s not (almost) all life science. »
