- I think the exam did not test our ability to apply the material, or require insight, but rather tested our ability to repeat certain aspects of the material. That being said it did reflect some of the important points that we learned.» (To some extent)

- I learned a lot from the course literature, but much of what I learned from it was not applied anywhere. That being said the literature was very rich.» (Large extent)
- The book, TR and slides was everything we learned, TR = Great idea, Slides = very good but the book is extremly borring. It is e very interesting subject and it consist of, I guess, good fact but is very old and so borring written that you search for the different chapters on google instead and reading the same fact from other sources. The only reasson for that was to remain the will to live until the exame was done. Fortunately the bad book was compencated by Lars, one of the best teacher so far at Chalmers( and I have been hear for 4 years), due to lack of invites to his lobster fishing...» (Large extent)
- I think the contents of the book was quite good but unfortunately I did not like the way it was written. It had a lot of examples telling you how NOT to do, which I find very inappropriate.» (Large extent)

- Different cultures...» (Rather poorly)
- In our group, we had some difficulties with the 2 exchange-students. They didn"t participate at all during the case-studies, homework for the Lean-game, and the quality of the material they provided for the topic reports was very poor. In fact, all of the material one provided was totaly removed and the others had to be rewritten.» (Rather poorly)
- Some problems when writing reports because students from different countries has different habits » (Rather poorly)
- It was very difficult to carry out the topic project in an effective manner at the same time you tried to get to know your new classmates. I found our work evolving to be of quite low quality, but I felt it was not appropriate to correct or criticise others work and thereby giving the first impression of being rude. After a study period or two this is not a problem, and it is not a major problem if just a professional relationship is wanted.» (Rather well)

- I would say adequate if just looking at the actual workload, but with a new class and a change of language spoken, the experienced workload felt higher.» (High)

- I believe that the course accomplished it"s goals and despite the nature of the exam, was excellent overall.» (Excellent)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- I believe that it would be useful to change the format of the exam to allow student"s to apply the tools and insight they have acquired throughout the class. I see limited usefulness in having students repeat lists of material from the material, other than checking that the students have read the material (or memorized the relevant parts.)»
- Explain ehat the Applied Material case are about before the task is handed out instead of when it is handed in, i.e. explain what wafers etc. is.»
- Don"t invite SCA, the whole lecture was kind of pointless. And I think I think it"s wrong to examine on the course goals.»
- the results of the topic report should be communicated (earlier)!»
- SCA lecture, or at least she should be more prepared. i.e. know what the course is about and present something relevant to it. Not just advertise SCA and show commercial clips... Also the case felt a bit off since a lot of the groups didn"t put much effort in it because it didn"t influence the grades. This made the class discussion kind of pointless. It could be a lot better with more moderation from the teacher... »

- The SCA lecture seemed a bit unrelated. Maybe to much of a "comercial" feeling to it.»
- Really a great Professor. Am impressed by the way he teaches and delivers the course content. Really i feel good. Also very interactive class lectures.»
