- It would have been better to use the black board more and use powerpoints less. However, it was good that the examples were taken from the book - that made me remember these examples when reading the book and increased the understanding. Btw, the Service Profit Change book was excellent! It was the most interesting and joyful book I"ve read during this Master Program.» (Small extent)

- The book provided good and interesting information in combination with the powerpoints. However, I think it is important to comment more on the powerpoint slides than you did or maybe use the black board more (but keep the powerpoints too). More free discussion around these matters while presenting the matters would probably give a higher level of attendance among the students taking this course.» (Adequate)
- I did not expect it to be a fun course when I applied, but I enjoyed it from the first day. » (Good)

15. Which part of the course did you enjoy most?

6 svarande

General Service Management»4 80%
Facilities Management»1 20%
No opinion»1

- I think it was interesting to get some information and understanding for a new industry. Also, I have worked in a service providing company in 3 years, so for me I felt I could relate to much of the thinking. » (General Service Management)
- I didn"t find FM interesting. I would rather have preferred linking the concepts of the service profit chain more to construction» (General Service Management)
- Mainly due to the book. If there is any other FM book it would be a good idea to change that book, or at least to write a clear reading instruction to that book.» (General Service Management)
- I liked the Service Management part. I am not that interested in FM, however, I can see that the whole course is mostly linked to the program through FM. » (General Service Management)

- The Service Profit Chain Book»

- That lectures are much more based on the theory in the literature and not just lectures about different cases and companies. Instead, different concepts and theories should be emphasized. »
- More interesting guest lectures.»
- find something else than FM»
- Get rid of Per-Erik Josephssons lectures, or change them so that they are relevant to the course and that they are not merely marketing! Use blackboard more, talk more freely around the powerpoint slides - in other case, people won"t attend to the lectures since the powerpoint-slides themselves provide a good ground for the group work and, more importantly, for the exam.»
- Managing knowledge could perhaps be changed»

19. Additional comments

- More explanations from the book, since a lot we needed to de research on our own.»
- Thanks for an interesting course, hope you succeed in getting more people to the lectures next year.»
