- I think this assignment was pretty good, but alot thought it was quite hard. The problem was that in every task there was some "trick" or thing that very few people really comes up with. I like tasks which are hard, but one should be able to read in course litterature and make his/her own answer. I didn"t feel that the litterature matched the task.» (Much)

- The Mase book is not good at all for this course,not understandable. I used the e-book Introduction to continuum mechanics by W. Michael Lai, David Rubin, Erhard Krempl c2010 for the part one of this course. this book is much better than Mase book.of course I am not sure if this is the best one but it has lots of examples and very easy to undrestand.» (Small extent)

- What a pity that we did not do more applications! We only had to learn the prooves, which is not very useful for an engineering work!» (Fair)
- For the examination, we had to learn a lot of proves, to know the "tricks" were. I don"t think that this is going to be useful for an engineer. Instead we should focus more on the physical sense of those equations, and maybe do more exercices, physical problems.» (Adequate)
