- There were 2 different home pages with different information. There were a lot of documents, to download, but no explanation of what to use them for. I could also only found one old exam, the same exam that was presented in class. I would prefer more exams.» (Very badly)
- Two different course homepages.. Also I didn"t like that ALL exercises were recommended in some parts of the course since it was impossible to do them all.» (Very badly)

- There were no exercise sessions where the teachers were simply available for questions, no office hours and when I asked whether there were any opportunities to seek help I got a very vague answer. However, once I had e-mailed the teachers and managed to get the office hours of Thierry he was VERY helpful and took the time to explain concepts in detail. So "Very poor" is a bit of a stretch, it was very difficult to get help but once I got help the help was very good.» (Very poor)
- I would like booked class room where I could ask questions and also sit down and do the excercices.» (Very poor)
- I have sent 3 email with questions before exam to Hakan and teacher 1 out of 3 replied.» (Rather poor)

- Thierry, your teaching style is way cool. It"s impossible to hear a word your saying, but that"s ok. French is cool.» (Adequate)
- too much time spent on Predicate and Propositional logics. The exercises seemed a bit always the same.» (Adequate)

- The course covers a wide range of topics and manages to go in-depth on them without becoming too much. Unfortunately, the exercise sessions were somewhat unorganized and the TA seemed thoroughly unmotivated.» (Good)

13. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- should specify more which exercises that are important to do, instead of just writing "do all"»
- The information on Erlang should be more detailed. It was a very hard beginning with Erlang because of missing basic knowledge of the compiler.»
- include assignments and tests. »
- Either add an exercise session for questions or explicitly state the office hours of the teachers. The first two lectures (about the history of logic) were not very relevant to the course goals and should be skipped. The exercise sessions with a teacher solving exercises from the book had too slow a pace and the exercises should be listed before hand.»
- Faster introduction? Most master students know what implication, disjunction etc. is, don"t they?»
- There should be a better way to organize the exercises. Maybe also some assignments.»
- It seemed weird that we"re supposed to remember the SAT algorithm for CTL well enough to write it down on the exam. One needs to spend a lot of time on it (because it"s so intricate) and it"s only a few points on the exam anyway. Or maybe the book just didn"t demonstrate its simplicity?»
- The course home page. Supply more old exams, so that one knows what to expect and can practice. The book is not enough.»
- It would be helpful if exercises to be covered were published a few days before the exercise sessions. That way, students would be able to solve them on their own and use the exercise sessions to get feedback and an answer to compare with.»
- Maybe have times when the teachers are available to ask questions about specific exercises, but in person.»

- Jan has a funny accent, that is great.»
- The material in this course could have filled an entire day of reading in the bathtub while sippin" on a nice glass of wine.»
- The teacher could do a SMALL effort about his accent... French students can surely understand but for the rest of us it is pretty hard to get what he says.»

- If the intuitionists reject LEM they should reject not-elim too, because not-elim assumes there is nothing between falsehood and truth, which is what LEM is based on. Perhaps or-elim should be rejected as well, because one should disprove this "middle" before assuming it"s not there, right?»
- ments, the TA answered "Well, that doesn"t make my job any less boring, but OK". I find this attitude unprofessional. It was his job to hold the sessions and his amusement with the task should not be a top priority.»
- Slides can be used sometimes, instead of handwriting»
- HB, who held the exercise sessions, seemed umotivated and lazy. His pace during these sessions was unnecessarily slow and he put a large portion of the burden of managing the session on the students. The general attitude was highlighted very well during one session. After pointing out how boring it was to go thorugh exercises on the blackboard, Mr. Burden asked students if they could think of a better way of structuring the sessions. After some students came with constructive comments, the TA answered "Well, that doesn"t make my job any less boring, but OK". I find this attitude unprofessional. It was his job to hold the sessions and his amusement with the task should not be a top priority.» (den här kommentaren har blivit redigerad i efterhand)
