4. Based on what was delivered in the course, do you think that this is the right description of the course aim?

In order to design energy-efficient buildings with high levels of comfort and durability, detailed models and an overall understanding of building physics are required. The aim of this course is to offer methods and models to calculate and understand heat, air and moisture transfer in building components and in whole buildings.

- I realy donot like the exam grading system.Total points were for the final exam.and exam was very open solution.I tried my best to do it.But failing by 1 point is very bad.It should not be like this.I even never missed one lecture.» (To some extent)

- this organization is very good, we learn notions, and after, with guest and after some exercices, we put it in the reality. moreover, it allows us to understand by a better way the course» (Very well, beacuse)

- I wouldn"t hurt with one more lesson about floor heating, since this was a pretty big part of the course, in order to fully understand it. Home assignments were really god and decisive for the grade to which I learned the subject. The workshop with architechts was more a fun part. - Could be better, but the programme is not that advanced so you can learn how to use it by your self.» (Rather good)
- The introduction gave me enough knowledge to use the basic tools in the programme. However, I had to spend a bit of time learning how to use other tools when doing the computer assignments.» (Rather good)

- The guest lectures, in general were very good. The final one on ventilated facades was a little less applicable, since it is not used as much in practise as the other lectures. - The Building Physics textbook did have some useful reference material, but I found it not well organized and it can be difficult to find the correct information.» (Large extent)

- The home exam was a new way of doing exams, but it was rather stressful. It was said that a home exam should be less stressful but instead I felt more pressure than during a 4-hour exam, with the difference that it lasted fro eight hours. I believe I would prefer a standard exam.»
- It was a little disappointing that the tour of SP could not be arranged. It would have been useful to see their facilities and what kind of research they are doing.»

- intresting course, good with small intimate class, created good opportunities to discuss solutions and such. the home exam worked good too, though we really needed all those hours»
- I realy liked that course.But i am very sad that I failed that course by 1 point.I tried my best.as this course was very new for me.Its 8 hour home exam.I don"t like the Examination system for this course.If I m given a choice to study it,I would never choose this course because of exam.»
