- I have freely elective courses and looked in the syllabus for guidance to see what I will learn during the course. Some mentioned moments in syllabus was left out. If those things are important and will be taught if time is enough I think this should be mentioned so students choosing courses so they can consider if one should choose the course or not, or just leave them out» (The goals give some guidance, but could be clearer)
- They are clear now when the course is covered, but initially I expected more numerical methods algorithms. Like different numerical integration methods and discussing how to improve convergence of error etc.» (The goals give some guidance, but could be clearer)

- I think one should include transforms as a prerequisite. I do not consider transforms as basic mathematics, but maybe all chalmers students have learned transforms.» (Yes, the goals seem reasonable)

- The wavelet introduction was of great value for one who didn"t know anything about them before. The Kalman filter was also interesting but much too short.» (Adequate)
- Except of leaving parts mentioned in the syllabus out, the course was good. The parts of ODE was taken to briefly in my opinion. I think that was interesting and more focus should have been on it. The same with kalman filtering.» (Good)

- Syllabus. I understand that master student which have this course as semicompulsory course, this is not a big issue, but for those choosing courses very freely the syllabus is a guideline for the other students assess the contents and see if one should choose this course.»

- Alessandro part of the course was excellent, teaching method was superb, the course would be alot better if more time was spent on the Alessandro part. »
