1. Course material/textbook

We have not found any suitable textbook that covers all areas included in this course (at least not at a reasonable cost). Do you think it is a great disadvantage that there has not been any special textbook?

- but this is a vast course so one text book can not cover the whole course material, the biggest advantage of having not one text book is that everyone looks different books related to concern topic so got an opportunity to read more.» (Yes)
- It would be nice to at least have a compendium where text from different sources are gathered so that there are at least something to read it one has missed a class or two.» (Yes)
- No special book is needed, but at least upload all material to the webpage.» (No)

2. Several different lecturers were involved in the course. Do you think it is an advantage or a disadvantage if many different specialists are involved in a course? Please motivate!

- specialists have industrial experience and it is a good way to learn more about the trend of industrial waste treatment system.» (Advantage)
- Det är både en fördel och nackdel. Det kan bli svårare att få en helhetsbild av kursen men å andra sidan är alla föreläsare mycket kunniga inom just det området som de pratar om. Jag tycker därför att fördelarna överväger.» (Advantage)
- Waste management itself is a multidisciplinary topic and I think that it could not have been covered properly by one person. It was very nice to have introduction lectures of mainly all areas of waste management.» (Advantage)
- It can be an advantage, but then there must be a red line with the lectures. And if several lecturers cover similar facts please use the same terms and stress the same techniques to get a better result from the students.» (Advantage)

The course consisted of a series of lectures, a project work and study visits.

- Jag tycker helt klart att det ska påverka slutbetyget eftersom det är en så pass stor del av kursen. Om det inte skulle ha betydelse för slutbetyget skulle det inte vara lika motiverande att försöka göra ett så bra arbete som möjligt.» (Yes)
- the project required a significant amount of time and efford therefore i think it is reasonable to get extra points from that.» (Yes)

- The power points should be on the home page before the lecture, if the purpose is to learn as much as possible. Another alternative is to always hand out paper-versions in class.» (3)

- it was a good course, the lectures were good, and good attempt to cover the basic and important information, but the method of presentation was very good, all teachers were highly co-operative.»
- Bra och rolig kurs som jag är glad att jag valde att läsa!»
- Keep the project. MAKE A COMPENDIUM!!! Try to keep a read line though the entire course and use the same expressions to make the course into one unity.»
