- Without any background in electrical engineering (what so ever), the goals where set a little to hight for a 7.5hp course.» (No, the goals are set too high)

- In exam only some selected topics were covered not the whole one. I know more then 80% course on my finger tips, In exam, I know the thing and how they are calculated but only because of formula I can"t able to solve problem, I mean it should be an open book exam.» (No, not at all)
- The course is very extensive, hence some parts of the course was not really covered in the examination» (To some extent)
- An oral exam (like a problem to be solved at the board) could be a good way to really assess what the student understood/learnt from the course» (To some extent)

- All teachers use almost exclusively PowerPoint. That can at times be very hard to follow unfortunately!» (Some extent)
- The exercises were however very good. Normal lectures were not as giving as it could have been. I think a redefinition as to the focus of the lectures should be done. Understanding the important formulas and theories are more important that a quick "go-through" deriving the formulas, which is already in the book anyways. » (Large extent)
- I think some more class activities should be add in the syllabus of this course for more better understanding.» (Large extent)

- Well its too much course to be coevered in only like 30 working days and then quizes and labs, this course only touches the topics and does not give a very deep feeling about many things but a few» (Good)

- The Home assignments and bonus point system should be preserved as it gives you a fair chance of assesing your ownself throughout the course.»

- well it should be considered what to be taught in more detail and what would be only introduced and also be mentioned in the goals of the course, also some pre reading should be recommended for students to cathc up with such vast course contents»
- The Labs should be given some points so that everyone take them more seriously inculding the Lab instructors:)»
- No point based quiz. I don"t think it"s a fair way of encourage visitors to lectures or reading the course literature. Time etc, are factors that play a part here. A quiz could, however, be handed out as preparations to the examination etc. Also, answers to the exercises in the literature is very sparse. If one does not have an answer to all the exercises, the exercises will not really help you. This applies also to the handed out examination. An exercise exam will not help unless correct solutions are available for something to learn from, or at least the answers. This should be provided! »
- More feedback for the quizzes! It"s of no use if we don"t get to see the correct answers and a short explanation afterwards. Less PowerPoint!»
