- Since it wasn"t organised, it was hard for people who didn"t really know anybody previously, to form a group. The ones that knew each other, formed groups and then the "left over" students were more or less forced together.» (Rather bad)

15. "laborations" . did they work?

The circumstances were a little bit varying. "Research by design" gave us trouble, the Louisiana exhibition was a bonus. So perhaps this question is mostly related to Lab 2

- The lab 2 could have had better instructions, what was the aim?» (Rather little)
- presentationsteknik kanske är bra för ingenjörerna men jag känner att det hade gett mer att labba mer specifikt på hur man designar klimatsystem etc. LÄra av betancour?» (Rather little)
- Maybe lab 2 was a bit out of the subject, but it was a very good opportunity to learn to cooperate between architects and engineers» (Very well)

- Swenglish on powerpoints... didn"t feel like they had prepared enough. very bad first impression of the client» (Very bad)
- The people from Älvstranden did not give a good impression. Sometimes it seemed like they did not know what they were talking about. (especially about the technical information)» (Rather bad)
- Really bad presentations with lots of misspellings and not so interesting content. Not to mention that it was badly organised, since there was an other presentation going on in the larger room next to us, so we couldn"t actually hear our own.» (Rather bad)

- To open and large task» (Very bad)
- It is difficult enough to design a sustainable building on this site, but to also have to decide on a program for the building is just too much.» (Rather bad)
- The program is too vague. The site is huge and the scope is very big but also very interesting.» (Rather bad)
- Jag tycker att onödigt stor tid går till programformulering, det hade varit bättre om detta varit mer specat och man kunde ägna mer tid åt design med ingenjörerna. nu blir det mycket arkitektjobb med program i början...» (Rather bad)

- But of course it could be better. Maybe a seminar where u read texts about sustainable development and discuss.» (Good)
- The idea of architecs and engineers working in team is as close as to the "real world" you can get. We soon figure out by ourselves that we have to be humble and listnen to each other to make progress in the project. If you only do your own thing, nothing works very well. Its good to try yhis out now before we go into combat-field.» (Very good)

20. What should be preserved next year?

- The small group works in the beginning of the course, but the number of them should be decreased so we get more time for learning.»
- The layout for the project. The scale of the project. »
- The graphic representation lab but it would be helpful to have a presentation of good and bad examples and why they were good or bad.»
- More lecture about design process and sustainebility in a urban context»

21. What should be changed the nest year?

- More lectures about sustainable building. And a better introduction week for the engineers.»
- You form the groups, like in real life you dont have the power tho choose who you like to work with.»
- Information flow should be better. Better information on schedules, earlier»

22. Other comments

- The organisation in general is really poor. The schedule is not coordinated between the studio and the courses we have, which becomes a big problem, especially when we have to work with students from other courses and disciplines. It shouldn"t be that hard to create a schedule with modules, that would work for everyone, regardless of which courses they are taking.»
