» (Small extent)
- There has practically been no teaching!» (Small extent)
- I want the course to be more theoretical. I understand that the practical applications are good for ones learning process, but I think that those two can be combined. Many assignments I felt like I"ve done before.» (Some extent)
- I think the teacher had not enoufgt time to administrate ths course, lacking in communication and feedback to the groups.» (Some extent)
- The seminars themselves do little to help with the actual task. Learning from each other has been more effective.» (Some extent)

- Uneven knowledge and too large groups» (Rather poorly)
- Some students I worked with performed very poorly and a lot of my time was spent covering for them. As the main subject for grading is the group and not the individual, this can affect the grades negatively for some.» (Rather well)
- Vi hade ett öppet och sunt gruppklimat men det hela föll helt enkelt en aning på att inte alla i gruppen tog lika mycket ansvar och hade samma ambitionsnivå» (Rather well)

- I think this type of simulations are very interesting, however as I stated in question 2 I want more lectures and theory.» (Good)
- I do not see though how some of the goals that we had to achieve tied with the tasks.» (Good)

- Some assignments were better than others. Good: » (Good)
- Because of time there were projects in which i did not have a big involvement.» (Good)

9. What stands out to you as being particularly good about the course?

- The interesting setting with "real companies" and communication through the Moodle platform. »
- The "you are on your own"-feeling. Real problems are not specified so I learned above all to adopt Ulf"s "good enough" (and at the same time strive for excellence - which is somewhat ironic) and Chris" "get the shit done" but it required both blood, sweat and tears»
- The open innovation assignment was good»
- Good to exercise things in a almost real setting!»
- The interaction between students and teachers and the high quality assignments. »
- The connection with the lectures in the fall and the challange to link previous learnings with all the assignments.»
- the "real" setting.»
- The speed of the assignments which make you act. The tasks are are hard to complete due to lack of information and uncertainty of requirements. This makes us adapt but also make mistakes»

10. What stands out to you as being in need of immediate improvement?

- More theoretical lectures. I felt like I had done several assignments before.»
- Feedback and new learning»
- Smaller groups, more teaching, less tasks...»
- More theory before tasks in order to learn more.»
- The construction of the groups. »
- The communication between the teachers and the students. Teacher need to be more available during the assignments. Not just during the walk around.»
- size of groups. 6 Persons are to many.»
- The speed of the Moodle platform.»

- Se ovan för tipps» (Not at all)
- As the feedback on the lectures was directed to all groups, this didn"t help much. I prefer concrete feedback instead of "this was a general amongst groups".» (Slightly)
- The general feedback was not as good, more insight you gain from the individual one.» (Slightly)
- Would have wanted more and individual, not group-based» (Good)

Lectures

In terms of your learning experience, how useful did you find the following lectures and consultations:

14. Summing up the Year by Ulf Petrusson

- I don"t think that the lectures were tied to the topics nor "IVC year" at all. Frankly, I was just waiting to leave because I didn"t learn anything.»
- I alawys enjoy to listen to Ulf, doesn"t matter what he has to say.»
- Good»
- It was nice to get some overview but the learning was not extremely high.»
- Useful, but a lot of repetition.»
- It should be more practical terms.»
- Good, but some times it became a bit to holistic and not applicable. »
- Lectures with Ulf are as always interesting. I wish thought that he would not only present the goals but how, in a comprehensible, rational way they were tied to the assignments in one year.»

15. Branding and Design by Lars Strannegård

- I felt like I"ve heard it all before. He had an interesting way of delivery though, through his presence and connection at "stage". »
- Skilled person,good lecture»
- Fair»
- This was really interesting and I learned about new aspects to think about.»
- Good. »
- It did not brought to much input.»
- The lecture did not really have any meaning at this time. It would have been useful in the brand lab, now it repeated what we learned on our own.»

16. Using patents for competitive projection/IAM practices in small vs. large companies by John Raley

- I did not attend due to other engagements.»
- One of the best lectures ever at ICM! It was really great that he showed us some practical tools to emphazize the importance of IP skills.»
- Fair»
- Did not attend. »
- Very good input for one of the assignments of the lab, the HR structure.»
- realy good. He was down to earth and gave new insights.»

17. Consultations with a licensing expert by Caroline Pamp

- We didnt have any information on the subject for licensing, so we didn"t have many questions that needed answers.»
- Very helpful at that time. A little bit more roleplay would be fun. »
- Good»
- Learned a little but not much.»
- Good. »
- Very usefull.»
- No present - Asa, Magnus and David were present for our group»

18. Social Entrepreneurship by Karl Palmås

- very interesting!»
- Well, it didn"t really fit in in the IVC and the content was to "empty". But it was ok.»
- Not at all»
- This was interesting and quite giving.»
- Very interesting but not really connected to the IVC. »
- I saw no connection with the assignments.»
- Good lecture but could have been placed earlier during the first ICM year.»
- It is in itself an interesting subject, not very well presented though. A better presentation came from Ulf in the last sum-up lecture. »

19. Consultations with an organization expert by Mats Lundqvist

- We got some good input on how to organize this type of company.»
- We did not send the whole group. But I heard that he had quite little focus on what they expected and a whole lot of a focus on business plans.»
- Good»
- Didn"t learn anything.»
- Useful discussion. »
-
- he did not talk so much about organization, instead he talked about the business model.»
- Very interesting. I think Mats, gave us a good understanding of the issue at hand.»

20. R&D in MNCs and SMEs - A practitioner´,s perspective by Per-Olof Larsson

- Interesting, but the lecture was basically just a long walk through of his resume.»
- Very interesting! Not from a IVC"s perspective but I really like to listen to that guy! One thing that would be good to note for the next year is that he should know what exactly we are doing. I guess everybody was eager to ask questions about Open Innovation and so on but we could not come up with any questions.»
- Fair»
- Didn"t learn about our topic but got some insight in his career.»
- Interesting lecture and somewhat useful »
-
- He came in at a bad time.»
- No comment on the lecture itself, however....I suggest that the lectures be moved sometime when we are not so occupied with the workload. Even though the person is interesting and has good things to say less it is hard to pay attention to him. It makes both him and us feel bad and is a waste of time.»
