- The labs/exam tasks where constructed to make the student dig down into matlab-indexing and details about programming rather than getting the big picture. More about testing different settings, images, techniques than really implementing a basic one would have been great» (The goals give some guidance, but could be clearer)

4. Are the goals reasonable considering your background and the number of credits?

Answer this this question and the succeeding one, only if you do know the course goals.

- I loved the lagrange multiplier problem and I hope that more such problems are given. It was good to see no multiple choice type of questions. As, such type of questions turn out to be easy picking for discussions during exams. I hope the examinations are fool proof, so that there is no malpractice ! I feel malpractice in exams should be taken up seriously.» (Yes, definitely)

- Good to start learning the subject, would prefer more details are more upto date with the current technology. For example, the lecture on 3D-video from Ericsson was very good indeed. » (Adequate)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- the guest lecture»
- lab works»
- All Labs »
- LAb projects are good and should be retained.»
- The labs are quite interesting. But the memo is not always very clear. Especially the theory behind each lab ... I understand it only after I have finished coding for the lab. »
- the labs total concepts were ok but they could be better in terms of desired goal and planned outcoms.»
- It should be preserve for next year students»
- Projects»
- The way how lab has been divided among TA"s»
- Lab exercises»
- Projects»
- The labs, very good but very hard. Proper lectures will make this easier. »
- Projects.»
- Most of the labs»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- course book, feedback!!»
- Nothing.»
- The 80%/20% ratio for labs and written exam should be 50/50.»
- more labs »
- The teacher»
- Lectures could have been in more details and organized.»
- about. This is a very fundamental part of teaching. You need to be well-prepared before the lectures, you need to KNOW what you are lecturing about, not only what is on the slides, please describe the slides more and maybe skip some unnecessary slides. I don"t remember much from the slides, they didn"t catch my interest because they often only contain rubbish and useless facts. Facts that I"ve would soon forget. The whole structure is really hard to grasp. we have lectures that isn"t necessary to pass the course. We talk about so many different areas that I can"t get a decent overview of what we are learning us. In the laborations we used equations and functions I didn"t know how they worked. Please add more Matlab help in the course. It is a big hazzle to constantly fight matlab into doing what we want to do. The computer science students don"t have much experience with matlab and the small amoung experience they have gained is about two-three years old and they haven"t touched matlab since. The general impression is very shattered. in relation with my previous courses this is in my Top 3 worst. Maybe the most unproffesional course I"ve ever attended.»
- lab exercises were too easy, make them a bit tricky or add some parts to it»
- The lectures about the labs need to be held earlier in the course.»
- A complete text book would be good to have and good read.»
- Not clear in her explanations and seem to ignore some important points of the scope of the course» (den här kommentaren har blivit redigerad i efterhand)
- Better english is required. The lecturers english is terrible and among the tutors the genereal impression was mixed. In order to earn the students trust you need to act as if you were in charge. Better gramar, better articulation. Better slides, more proffessional. Please no copy-paste from open sources, this looks so amateurish. The lecturer isn"t convincing. When lecturing about courses, you NEED to know what you are lecturing about. This is a very fundamental part of teaching. 16. Additional comments

- Maybe the memo could be made a little more detailed. Or otherwise, the same things should first be introduced in class and not directly in the memo. »
- Prerequisites must be clearer: students need to be very used to Matlab. »
- All people were good.»
- Over all course was of good intrust and provide good learning.»
- I must say that Erine is very co-operative, informative and friendly and all the TAs are very efficient and very co-operatives. I would rather say that Erine has got most efficient TAs of Chalmers as far i have seen.»
- The standard of the lecture or the course should not be compromised as there are non-MPCOM students. This is a masters course and one should expect some good technical stuff. Especially when it comes to Matlab ! Lowering the standard to suit everyone is something that I did not like. As the course itself mentions the pre-requisites the students should be well aware of it.»
