- The course had too much emphasis on the theoretical side of the study and not enough practicality. There were also no past exam papers given prior to the exam and so it was difficult to comprehend what was going to be present on the exam, the style of the questions and the format were unknown. The "example of exam type questions" which were sent via email were totally inadequate. The pace of lectures was really slow, with too much time spent on unnecessary things. Such unnecessary things as SADA (please see comments below).» (The course was quite bad)

12. Do you have suggestions for improvements - what should be done differently next year

- Spend less time on the courses, a lot of lectures give the same idea, a lot of ideas are repeated, so it"s lost time...»
- Well focused but the project needs more help to be done»
- Tänk på vad förläsningarna egntligen ska ge eleverna. Att bara stå och rapa upp en massa text så att folk somnar, eller kanske helt struntar i förläsningarna är ju ingen idé. Så var det med vissa föreläsningar...»
- Provide past exam papers - This importance cannot be stressed enough. Emphasise important concepts during the teaching time and don"t waste time on inferior information. Do not make students learn to use SADA, which use during this course will probably be the only time in their life they will ever use it.»

13. What do you think about the soil contamination/drinking water project?

- Interesting project, a disadvantage could be that it consists of two very different parts, which possibly makes the group members focusing only on one of the two parts.»

- Väldigt bra, även om det känns som att kontamineringsdelen var lite svår att få riktigt grepp om. Sada var svårarbetat...»
- The actual conducting of a risk assessment was interesting and maybe more emphasis should be placed on that. The use of SADA I felt was completely unnecessary and felt that it wasted students" valuable study time in having to learn how to use and understand a new computer software. I would have prefered to use that time studying for the exam than working on a computer.»
