- I went to the lectures in the computer rooms, i did not think the "normal" lectures where worth going to.» (50%)

- The lectures where in general very bas. I thought the projects was to many and with bad structure. They should have started on a basic level and been built from that. Not it was a mixture of everything. » (Small extent)

- The litterature about heat exchangers design is a bit "messy". There are lot of information that we have to sort and put on the right order. It is maybe part of the skill, but it didn"t help for the good comprehension. » (Some extent)

This course and the course with Simon Harvey (IES?) are master examples, how to publish information (lecture notes etc.) in good time. - I only had one more course during this quarter (heat and power), but the total amount of work was a bit too high, so that I didn"t get well prepared to the examinations. » (Too high)
- Många projekt resp stort projekt i andra kursen gör att arbetsbelastningen blir mkt hög, i synnerhet i slutet av perioden då allt kör ihop sig och man samtidigt måste tentaplugga. Many projects in this course and one big project in the other course (H&P?), make the the work load very high, especially at the end of the quarter. - Labbarna, men plocka gärna bort en, och ha inte labbar så sent på perioden. Programvarorna, bra att få känna på "verkliga" program och arbeta med dem. - It felt like we did all the projects at the same time, it would be better to do one project at a time.»

- Two things should change: 1) More credit for projects should be given, and less for exam. 2) The progression of learning about the design methods by lecture, and then project exercise should be supplemented by a review and overview of the method giving instruction about strategy and "tricks" to short cut the design for instance on the exam. It was only after the struggle of the exam did I realize the potential for understanding strategies for design that can short circuit the iteration process. This wasn"t needed for the project work, but was needed to score highly on the exam. I think it is useful to not give out these ideas at first, but after the project work is completed, this would really advance the understanding and skill level of the students.»

- The PhD students Mattias, Stefan Elin are the best ones ever when it comes to help and put up with alot of time »
- The projects schedule was a bit messy. I think it would be better if the schedule was more "linear" like in the IES course.»
- I liked how the projects seemed realistic, in that most details seemed as if we really were responsible for designing the particular equipment. Having detailed feedback is also very helpful.»
