- The amount of papers we had to turn in within this course was beyond reason. One exam, one 15 page report, one 20 page report and a 25 page report seems insane, given that all the lectures were mandatory workshops.» (Around 20 hours/week)

- None. Techer speaks insufficient English. The Target Costing class was good though.» (Small extent)

- It was better if the teacher provided materials in English as well. Also he put so few examples online. » (Small extent)
- one of the books was pretty good (how to read a financial report), the other one was (and this was admitted by the teacher) much too complicated for this course. also, doesn"t seem fair with all this expensive literature. when only 20% of a book is part of the cocurse and the price of it is 600 SEK, another book should be selected.» (Some extent)

- techer does not (ever) answer emails techer shows up late or not at all in some cases and when a feedback session in school was cancelled by him he asks us to come to his office in stead in a different school. not ok. correction of assignments took 2 months most of the time. there is a 1 month limit at the university which was not respected. an assignment presented as not graded ended up being graded and included in the course grade.» (Very badly)

- The teacher was not able to explain things in English so there was no point in asking questions.» (Very poor)
- Techer was to some help sometimes, but many times he couldn"t answer questions in a good way. lack of knowledge or lack of English language skills.» (Rather poor)

- Except for Assignment 2 that was to extensive. Much better to have oral examination on that part, considering all reasoning needed to fulfill Kaj"s expectations.» (Adequate)
- The problem was that teached couldnt explain thing properly so I had to go and read at home. Attending the lecture was waste of time for those who knew finance and those who didn"t have background in finance.» (Adequate)

- grading of the assignments was very ad hoc. the grading criteria were how well we had lived up to his expectations with our paper. These expectations were not communicated beforehand.» (Poor)
- The whole course was not homogeneous and the explanation and examples were not good as well.» (Poor)
- I had completely different expectations of the course. the course had nothing to do with valuation and entrepreneurial finance. this was an accounting class» (Fair)

- Have clear communication from the beginning considering grading, assignments etc. Don"t use the business case made by the consultants again. It was only a waste of our time.»

- The teacher, the goals of the course. The most important thing is to have an introduction course for student without background in finance. It can be elective course. The fact that we have different backgrounds its not taken into consideration. So I think the grades are not fair.I spend lots of time for learning finance but I didn"t get good result since I didn"t know many basic.»

16. Additional comments

- This course was the worse course I have ever had. The teacher wasn"t able to speak English. Shouldn"t it be a prerequisite for our teachers. I didn"t understand much during the class and I had to study at home. He didn"t explain even one example thoroughly. He was not help full in terms of preparation before exam and he mainly focused on speaking Swedish with students.»
