- Not too much technical learnings, and not so much design practice, due to both lack of time, and of course that we have to come up with a solution from the beginning in order to carry on with the project: little to no time to explore the actual design situation.» (Small extent)

- Många utlänningar klarade uppenbarligen inte av arbetsbördan eller hade förväntad arbetsdisciplin. Vissa grupper hade det tufft p.g.a tvångsindelningen.» (Rather well)

- Including a home exam was not a good idea. The course"s workload was already much.» (Too high)
- Hemtentamen var på gränsen till onödig. 35 texter är inte realistiskt att läsa. 12 (2 per LS) hade räckt. Vissa övningar som att göra posters kändes direkt förolämpande att göra. Bortkastad tid som kunde lämnats åt hemtentan.» (Too high)

- Prototype.»
- Ole. Bästa handledaren någonsin. Lalya. Hon är hjälpsam och bryr sig och bör vara kvar. Bara hon styr upp alla problem.»

- Realizing a working prototype is a must. Fixed groups is fair enough, but better care should be granted to have different specialties and common interests in groups. »
- to mix group members in different gender, nationality. It is BRILLIANT.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The home exam is not necessary to be included.»
- Mindre texter till hemtentan (en tredjedel är mer än väl). Betalningssättet. Om en student köper något för egna pengar skall han/hon få ersättningen direkt och inte efter jullovet. Några 100-lappar är mycket pengar för en student. Schemaläggningen. De 3 veckorna före projektstarten kan kortas ner en vecka som kan läggas åt hemtentan så den sträcker sig över jullovet. Hemtentan. Ännu en fråga kortare och tid avsatt för endast den innan jullovet.»
- There should be given oposibilities to get help from professionals when creating prototypes that the students cant handle themselves, (working with wood, metal and plastic) »
- Literature is very important, but perhaps the questions should be handed in more clearly prior to the lecture seminars. More time to perform a meaningful study of the design situation, and award credits to discern if a new design brings too many negative consequences in a given situation. Of course, this is difficult to implement in the case of this course, so i should maybe constitute the subject of some other course. As well, opportunity, even so little, should be devoted to design process. I.e. the design methodology course should be the first one of the ID programme. Not simultaneous with this course.»
