- We still didn"t get some of the slides in electronic format. I know that sometimes it is up to the presenter, but if they are not possible to get, it is better to say so that to "we are waiting for them"» (Rather well)

18. Would you recommend that we include compulsory literature seminars next year?

One suggestion that has been put forward is to include literature seminars of a similar kind to the ones in the Improvement Processes course - in order to further stimulate all students to read the literature during the course - and not only just before the written exam.

- I was one of the people who suggested this, and i still believe it will be very useful to have the literature seminars included for those reasons mentioned, not only for the sake of reading the literature, but also for the sake of increasing the learning, especially with the learning atmosphere that the Literature Seminars create. » (Yes, definitely)
- The course content offers a lot of opportunities for discussion. This would also make it the course more lively.» (Yes, definitely)

- It should be one term before, i found that finishing the course (Dec 08") is a little bit too short for starting to look for thesis. And if you are able to find a thesis before the course, the expectations may be really different of what is achievable from the company and the students. Doing a thesis proposal helps to understand the efforts and what is necessary to do to in order to be able to commit to an achievable scope for the thesis. » (Yes, definitely)
- NO! Because they never help! There are other ways to do make students read the literature and that is by assigning tasks using those literature (similar to the questionnaire excercise). This way, students are in some ways forced to read during the study period and also have made great use of their learnings (which is the best way for a long-lasting learning).» (No)
- i think course boundries are too vast, discussions that took place during the course were quite helpful and served the purpose» (No)

- a great practice before starting the thesis» (Yes, strongly)
- the program is very helpful who want a research based thesis or have inclination to do phd further in their carrer. It was much more beneficial to management students rather then for hardcore mechanical studnets» (Yes)
- I would only recommend it in case that I realize that it has become more interesting, has more useful excercises, and has replaced the really not useful seminars with some more prectical and reading-required excercises.» (No)
