- The labs were good, not too hard but helped you to understand! I have looked at the old exams and they seem to be much harder than the exercises we have done during the course, that is bad.» (I don"t know/have not been examined yet)

- Michael is a very good lecturer. However, I do not really care for powerpoint slides in a mathematics course.» (Some extent)
- Jga tyckte att föreläsningarna var väldigt ostrukturerade, det fanns ingen röd tråd alls. Det hade varit bra om föreläsningarna och övningarna hade hängt ihop lite mer. Nu heter de samma sak men de tar inte upp samma sak och man får inte lära sig på föreläsningarna hur man ska lösa övningarna vilket egentligen borde vara huvudmålet. Det är också dumt med färdiga powerpointbilder eftersom det då är lätt för föreläsaren att bara läsa vad som står där istället för att förklara plus att det går väldigt fort när läraren inte behöver skriva något på tavlan så det är svårare att hänga med.» (Some extent)
- I personally think popwerpoint is not the best choice for lectures, especially not in math. If I want to read text I can read in the book, in lectures I want to see how its all built up and get an alternative way of think thinking. I understand that if powerpoint was not used in this course there wouldnt be enough time but thats only on more reason to expand it or slpit it.» (Some extent)

- The project is not theoretically advanced but still takes a lot of time due to all variables and so on. Might be realistic, but could involve a bit more advanced material and less indices.» (Some extent)
- First part of the project is unnecessarily hard - especially since each of the plants, mines etc. do not really contribute to the learning process - One can realize the extensions even though the example is small and quick. This needs to be adressed. On the other hand - the readymade model was very easy to interpret - and maybe it should more be the focus of the project to actually be able to write a smaller model in AMPL instead of making a semigood one but large and without the programming.» (Some extent)
- Det var första delen av projektet som var bra. På de andra skulle man ju bara klicka på saker och se vad det blev för svar, inte roligt och inte lärorikt. Sedan kunde man ju inte fråga på de inlagda labbtiderna eftersom ledarna hade fullt upp med att förhöra folk hela tiden.» (Some extent)

- Man får ju lära sig genom boken eftersom man inte hinner med på föreläsningarna men eftersom de båda har samma upplägg så finns det ingen röd tråd i boken heller.» (Large extent)

- Not a lot of time besides the time for the presentation of the exercises - not really any questions on other matters - since the exercises were pretty fast and focused on those exercises.» (Rather poor)

- Onödigt med alla dessa projekt och labbar. Hade varit bättre med fler övningar istället.» (Too high)
- As I wrote before, the course is a bit to "big", the contents is good, but too much for 7.5hp. Epecially when compared to other courses.» (Too high)

- The course covers a great deal of optimization and should be a course on the bachelors level instead of masters - since it contains very many applicable subjects and interesting implications, in both a theoretical and practical sense - i.e. something someone - like me - with an interest in mathematics with applications would greatly appreciate.» (Good)
- Not my favourite kind of subject why I will not rate the course as excellent. However, I think that all parties involved have done a very good job and they have certainly been able to make the subject interesting and inspire at least me into learning» (Good)

- Ha inte labbarna mellan fem och nio på kvällen, det är jättedåligt, folk har ju inplanerade saker då och det är svårt att klara alla dem utan hjälp plus att man är rätt trött då när man har pluggat sedan kl 8. Det borde ha funnits en permanent labbtid varje vecka istället, då hade den dessutom inte behövt vara så lång.»
- A slower pace in the lectures would be good.»
- The course load might be little less. I think that too many topics are tried to be covered. Instead, it would be better to leave out some topics and work deliberately on some topics. »
- The system for the lectures.\ I guess it"s much better that they try to cover less material, but the students to understand it better. It is really too much material!\ And, I think one cannot actually do math with some slides. One should write on the blackboard. »
- There could be more modeling exercises in order to give students more chance to meet with real life situations. »
