- I was impressed at the speed with which Peter could leave the room after a lecture. However, I only sort help during lab times where Peter and his assistant were very helpful and quick, especially considering the number of students in the class.» (Very good)

- Emphasis on FVM and FEM»
- Computer assignments were of great help in both getting the students hands warm for the next courses as well as obtaining an overview about what is going to be done in the next periods.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The questions. Theones from the last years book was impossible to undetrstand.»
- The FEM is much more difficult to understand than the FVM. I would prefer to have had a 1D FEM exercise instead of the 1D FEV exercise (reordered of course).»
- The course literature was well written but it lacked consistency in many parts which can be improved to next year. »
- more problems to solve, maybee some problem solving sessions. The teatcher has to slow down, it"s inpossinle to learn anything from the lectures.»
- One more lecture per week so more examples can be discussed. »

- It would be better if the lectures on time-stepping and non-linear systems were clearer since this is the hardest part of the course. More excersices (not only computer assignments) during the course would make the learning easier.»

- The FEM is much more difficult to understand than the FVM. I would prefer to have had a 1D FEM exercise instead of the 1D FEV exercise (reordered of course).»
- nothing, I think, they wer really good.. Maybee it would be nice if one of the time integration schemes was included. Or one of the iteration mettods. »

- It was not until preparing for the exam that I really came to terms with the FEM. Hence why I have suggested more of a focus on it in the tasks.» (Good)
